Default CRC error help

Hi all

Last night I set up some downloads and when I got up this morning half of them stopped about halfway through and had IO error cyclic redundancy recheck and when I try to resume the downloads the error keeps coming back.
Does anyone know what might be causing this. I've been using jdownloader for about a year and never seen this before.

Thanks

Cool

Unfortunately "CRC" counts too few characters to be used as a search term on this board. Also "cyclic redundancy" doesn't provide much help.

Thanks to one of the many external search engines I found the following interesting thread :-

Many files with CRC errors, is this the files or JDownloader problem .

Thanks for your reply. But I found out my hard drive was dying so I guess the files were having trouble being saved to this drive. I put a new drive in and all works well
