Tray icon issues on Gnome 3.22.1
hi there!
I'm on Debian Stretch, Gnome 3.22.1 and I have an issue with the minimize on tray feature.. Well, two issues: first the icon in tray is nothing but a black square; second and most important is that clicking the icon does NOT show jd2 at all! I have to launch it again from menu, not really a new launch because it shows the session already in background.. I also tried to change settings from jd2 options but did not help.. do you guys have hints, please? Thanks... |

Make sure to use JDK from Oracle. OpenJDK often has issues with 3D or some newer desktop manager. In case it still does not work, pleaes provide a logfile, https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs
and post the shown logID here. TrayIcon support higly depends on window manager and used java version.

hi @Jiaz
thanks for taking the time to reply.. Well, I'm actually really using OpenJDK and I do not plan at the moment to use Oracle official Java, mostly because I see no reason, maybe in the future I'll do or maybe you will somehow fix that once again, thank you very much which you a nice day |

You should at least test Oracle JDK just to see if it still happens -> issue with Java and Window Manager or not -> issue with OpenJDK and Window Manager

You can also provide a logfile, maybe it includes any hints about what's causing the issue for you
