Again the same typo, the name is filesmonster, also the user didn't use the search function of the borad, didn't post the url of the site and didn't post any example links!
Comeon, YOU want the plugin, not me.

Alright folks, but can someone tell me how do I make the filesmonster.class load up in JD? I'm picking this file from the following URL,
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

I'm using the Mac OS X 10.5 version and I just put the class file under,
Contents/Resources/java/jd/plugins/host

Do I need to do anything with jdinit.java file?
Do I need to do anything with FilesMonsterCom.java file?

Basically I wanted to know how do I add support for a new host in my existing installation of jd.

Thanks.

Ugotfile is already working in our SVN so it will also be available with the next update!

Default what is this site?

hi i was googling on how to get into filesmonster since unlike other normal file sharing sites (even foreign ones with no english) they don't always have a "free" option

i'm guessin the upload put some sort of filter OR my other theory is, uploads done with a premium account require another premium account to download.

and i was googling and ended up here, what are theses plugins people are requiring? will the program JDownloader help me log onto filesmonster.com?

Default what is this JD thing?

JDownloader (or JD for short) is a java-based Download(s) Manager. This means ir REALLY helps you download "direct download" files from a lot of filesharing sites. It is very useful for FREE accounts, which require you to wait between successive downloads in order to limit traffic.

All you have to do (on the Mac) is to copy the link to the file to the clipboard, and JD will take it from there. It will go check the hoster to see if it is available, then you hit "continue" to put it into the active download list. JD does the rest by downloading ALL your links into the folder you told it to.

To answer your question, it does not help you log into or get an account into hosters (like rapidshare, filefactory, easyshare, etc.). But if you have accounts there, enter this PREMIUM account info for each hoster into JD and it will manage THAT, too.

Hello normie100 and thankyou for your reply,

so what your saying is by installing JDownloader it will help me download the file using a 'direct download' method thus getting max speed and avoiding waiting times such as "wait for 60 seconds" to download message, is that right?

what about stuff from premium accounts? for instance i've notice some stuff on filesmonster.com that DOESN'T show the 'free download' option, i have no idea why it does that, i'm assuming maybe an option set by the uploader was put on, OR my other theory is a file uploaded by a premium account must be downloaded with another premium account.

The point i'm trying to make is, will this program help me download the files that require you to log in with a premium account?

p.s is the program have an easy interface?, eg. like a youtube video ripper i.e copy and paste the url in a url bar within the JDownloader program and just initiate?

pps people are talking about plugins, so does that mean i need one specifically for a site to use the program?

Cool

I recommend you to download the program from the download page, extract it and try it out. It's completely free.

You'll then get answers to most of your questions. If you've further questions or file hosts that aren't supported, please post them in the proper forums of this board.

Welcome to the best download manager on this planet!

Welcome to the best download manager on this planet!
actually i have downloaded and i've tested it, i clicked the drop down menu "links" ----> add links, and conveniently it has the url that i want to try out already up and running however when i click 'parse' it says it can't find the download.

I'm confused because i've tried all options, which url do i use? do i put in the url when it gives you the options to "free download" or click the free download option then use THAT url? OR do i wait the 30 seconds then click 'download' button that pops up and use THAT url? you should've given me some tips, but it doesn't matter because i tried them all and the program won't download. Upon that i've got alot of cool stuff from "filesmonster.com" that i want yet some don't have the free download option, now if this doesn't help, then the program is stilll good but doesn't do as well as i hoped. I need more info on what i can do or can't do with the program, some guidance or a manual would help:outch:

Cool

You refer to filesmonster.com. As far as I can see in my jD version, the host isn't supported yet. You can look for yourself :-

Settings -> Plugins & Add-ons -> Hoster

In post #24 (http://board.jdownloader.org/showpos...9&postcount=24), pspzockerscene says that the plug-in is almost finished.

Simply wait until it's programmed and released.

Well i once wrote this and i also tried to write the plugin on my own but i couldn't do it.
I also started implementing premium support for this hoster but i need help to do it and as long as no one else does it we won't ever have a plugin for that site.
Just wait, pushing this thread doesn't help anyone!

Hi all, I'm just new here.
I've got some files from Filesmonster.com but I can't download them with JDownloader. As I go through this thread, I see that the plugin for this site seem still be in the progress of development, isn't it?

I have some links here, hope this will help the development. (Sorry I don't have a premium account for further development):

This is the "folder" link:
Code:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff**
There are links for free download:
Code:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff**
Thanks so much and hope this plugin will be released soon!

Hey gus we (i) already know about the problem.
I made a perfectly working decrypter but i wasn't able to fix the free plugin because no matter what i did, it always ended up in a reconnect loop.
That's why the plugin doesn't work atm.
Guys please just wait.

This was fixd some days ago, now everything should work but you have to re-add the links to JD and delete the old ones from your downloadlist if they were in there BEFORE the update!
