Smile blotchy films

My video 1080p is playing all blotchy, (little squares all over the screen.) 720p, 480p etc and below it is perfect. I thought it might be the MCH-HC X64, but it does it on VLC to. I have had trouble with the Jdownloader but after i had put the CFG from the old to the new it has slowed up on the LINK GRABBER page and the DOWNLOADS page, so much so that it takes 5min - 10 mins to capture anything even 1 file. So it does it on MHC & VLC, I haven't tried any more. So i think it must be JDownloader, are you free to advise??

JD downloads the source file from external service providers. Other than providing you with options over which resolution (p rating) to download, it doesn't influence the quality of the video. Thats either entirely up to the service provider if they re-encode/transcode into other formats and resolutions.

from point of ruling out possibilities, have you tried to view said resolution in your favourite browser ? see if you can reproduce.

Not entirely sure to be honest. I have never experienced that myself.
was the issue there before coping over your old configs? that should be easy to test, close jd, goto the install path, rename cfg/ to something else, restart JDownloader, it will now be on fresh configs. re add the same link which was slow and see if its faster. If it is now faster, then there is something in your old configs which cause the issue, just not sure what.

open chrome, goto the url, select resolution, check?
