A new update just came in - now downloads work for me again.
(note that, for whatever reason, the premium plugin took 5 minutes to activate)

I've updated, but doesnt' work again. I can't find log settings in menu.

I had same problem yesterday, but everything be fixed today with the last update.

Hier dasselbe. DLC erstellen von den vorhandenen Links geht ja bei mir auch nicht, irgendwo ist also gröber der Wurm drin im Moment.

I've run all the latest updates. Same problems as yesterday:
- Premium account temporary disabled (with 5min countdown after each refresh).
- Linkgrabber claims all links are offline (they aren't).
- Each download generates an error, either "try later" or "out of memory" (the latter for Real-Debrid).

Plus:
Generating a log uploads the log (at least it says so), but does not show a log ID.

Same problem here, deleting files in /tmp and cfg/versioninfo folder does not solve the problem!

Das sollte die Entstörung schon mal in die richtige Richtung schubbsen. LOGs gibt es via Upload aus dem JD jedenfalls nicht da die Funktion nicht mehr greift.

I'm finding these in my logs as well. It really seems like some core method is messed up, causing a wide variety of problems. Call stack also indicates that this method is related to successful HTTP rresponses which require further processing. The exception doesn't seem to be thrown if the HTTP response is an error itself.

I'm running WinXP SP3 and Java 1.6.0_26.

ok ... update a few days ago JD2, all my links disappeared from the list of download ... So I wonder, then assumed that my JD2 works like a charm ... So I went back to nibble on the update button, I said it already had the latest version, then I hit restart and reappeared JD2 all, without having to do anything else ...
In your case, you say that you did everything and solicionado is not your problem ... I think (I'm not technical support JD, common single user), you should visit the official website of java, and in the download section, you provide verification of your installed version before downloading java ... with this for, you can tell if you have successfully updated java ... perhaps it is one of the problems you have to restore your settings and passwords

Exactly the same here even after the today's update.
I've restored a back up however, that i took a week ago and by canceling every update promote it works just fine.

just ran the updater again... version ist web feb 13 20:34, kernel 19924.... still nothing works, same errors :-(

A complete uninstall + new install did fix the problem for me.

Be sure to restart Windows between uninstall and new install. Even if the uninstall program doesn't say so, there are pending operations that won't be executed until a Windows restart. Logging off and on again is not enough. If you don't restart Windows after uninstall, your new installation might get messed up.

If you're paranoid like me, check the JDownloader 2.0 folder under Local App Data after doing the uninstall/Windows restart and delete anything that's left behind. Not sure if it's safe to backup/restore the user settings (I didn't).

would be nice if it would work after reinstall, but because I can't make a container of my links after the update I would loose a lot of links, last time I've made a backupt last week...

I had the same problem. I uninstalled Jdownloader, restarted Windoze and reinstalled Jdownloader and all's working ok now.

Hurray........ download problem solved !!!!
what i did
uninstall jdownloader2beta completely with "revo uninstaller" and restart your system.
download fresh copy of jdownloadersetup2 (offline)file size=around 30.6 MB from jdownloader.
install it, update it and enjoy it.i hope this would help you :-)

First, backup everything. After fresh install, replace cfg folder with the old one.

thanks tony2long, that worked :-) I backuped the old JD folder first, then deleted it completely, installed JD2 as fresh install, started it once, closed it an copied the old 'cfg' folder back, started JD again and it works. No reboot of the PC required.

cfg ordner gesichert
uninstall
jd ordner gelöscht
neu installiert mit offline installer
gestartet
cfg ordner wieder reinkopiert
läuft ... endlich :/

und jetzt keine updates mehr laden ._.
