Default Not able to play download from Mega.co.nz

Hello,

I am french user of JD and i use it to download from Mega.co.nz.
Twice, I've download a video (2 differents videos in MKV) and when download was finished (Status: Download Completed), I can't read the video. The player (VLC) start but nothing appear on the screen (no video no sound)...
Another time, I've downloaded another video and JD says "Finished" in the status. This time the video works and I can read it. The two others time when I can't read videos, JD don't wrote "Finished" in the status but only the green logo download completed.
What I can do ?

Thanks for help.

Sorry for my english level...

And if you downloaded these two examples in your favourite webbrowser can you play them?

I've used JD to download files from Mega.co.nz because frequently I had: "Temporary error, retrying" when I download by Chrome or Firefox. And I can resume download only from the beginning of the files with a webbrowser.
That's why I've used JD. Because of this error in webbrowser and the large file of video (more than 5go) and because my connection has limited data quota.
I didn't test to download this file in Chrome or Firefox...

Ok

so non conclusive, could be caused by:
- the uploader, corrupted upload, thus your getting corrupted download
- your codecs in your video player don't support that video
- JDownloader

Don't think because other people have download and they don't have report any problem...

Don't think because I've test to read it in Windows and Linux, with differents player and VLC don't use codec...

Maybe is the cause of the problem, or probably the decryption method.
  • I've seen in the last download, when status was "completed download", in my folder, there was only one file: "movie.mkv", so I've played it and there were no sound and no video.
  • After a few seconds I had two files: "movie.mkv" and "movie.mkv.decrypted", I play again and it was the same...
  • After a few minute, there was only "movie.mkv" -> play and same again (no sound no video).
The only file which has worked with JD has the status "Finished" writed in full letters. Two others don't have this status but only the green logo (completed download).

To resume: I've download three movies with JD from Mega.co.nz
  1. First movie download: Status: green logo "completed download", played with VLC -> no sound no video ; don't seen the file "...decrypted"
  2. Second movie download: Status: Finished (in full letters) with the green logo "completed download", played with VLC -> worked
  3. Third movie download: Status: green logo completed download, played with VLC and other player in Windows & Linux -> no sound no video ; have seen the file "...decrypted" but still don't work

Thanks

Sorry for my poor english... I hope you understand me.

PS: I use JD 0.9.581

Hi, I've got news !

I've test with another movie and when the download was finished (Green Logo "Completed Download"), I went to my downloaded folder and I see two files: "movie.mkv" and "movie.mkv.decrypted". So, I've waited the decryption was ended and then, JD say "> Finished" !
But another problem occured and I can't tell you if it's possible to read it without problem because when the download was finished, an other began (normal thing coz I've checked 1 parallel download) and I don't know why, but collected link were added to my download list without my acceptance... and the link of the movie too, so JD ask me what I want to do: "Erase or other", I say "Cancel" but the movie has disappeared from my download folder...
Anybody know how to retrieve it ???
I've tested with Recuva or Testdisk, but I didn't find it...
I'm so disappointed...

But, the first problem is solved ! Maybe creator of JD need to add a loading bar for the decryption to avoid people to read the file before it was decrypted and then corrupted it.
How about my second problem ???

Thanks for help.
