I don't consider a pre-existing file to be an 'error' and it is usually the product of a user not knowing what they have already downloaded. Maybe a yellow-warning would be a better indicator.

Check settings -> Advanced settings -> "GeneralSettings: On Skip Due To Already Exists Action" -> Check other option there and tell us if thats fine for you.

My thought is to change the word "error" as it seems too extreme - maybe simply a yellow sign with the text 'file already exists'?
I don't know if this should be in another thread but can you add some logic to the 'file already exists' code to check the sizes of the files? I have been having a bunch of issues as of late with the app which has resulted in a number of 1Kb files that then generate the 'file already exists' message which stops the download until I have to manually go and delete the file. |
