Sup,
I have two networks connected to my PC right now. One router connected via Ethernet Cable, other connected by WiFi. They both have different internet access. I want to use both of them in Jdownloader at the same time (for example downloading 2 separate files from one hosting website). I know that Jdownloader do not support multiple network interfaces and I have to use proxy. I downloaded CCproxy and set it up for local ip of the other network card (lets say 192.168.2.69 on port 2020). The same ip I entered into jdownloader as a new proxy and put it over no proxy, so the proxy is first. I can see in CCproxy logs that I try to connect to website, but in Jdownloader it simply says that im already downloading a file. It seems that jdownloader ignores/have troubles with proxy I just created. What might be an issue? Any help? edit: it seems that proxy INDEED works but it uses connection from 192.168.1.69 instead of 192.168.2.69 so in the end Proxy and without proxy uses the SAME internet connection. How to fix that? Last edited by TheRadziu; 29.11.2015 at 17:06. |

Sorry your statements are somewhat incorrect. JD2 does support multiple WANs, under 'Connection Manager' in settings. This setting pane is not just for proxies, its for different forms of WAN of which multiple gateways is just one method supported.
settings > connnection manager > add new connection as DIRECT, select the gateway IP address for given WAN on a given NET\d+ interface, or if the separate WANs are on different Network Interface Cards 'NIC' you can select based on NIC device name. Once you have two connections, I would disable 'no proxy' (default gateway), otherwise you will have secondary entry for one of those WANs, as its typically system default gateway.

Well, these were not my statements really, just info that I found here on the forums. I also have no idea how I managed to miss "Direct" option under new connection settings. I could have sworn there were only http/socket5/socket4 options to choose from, but I followed your instructions and now it works like a charm! Thanks a lot! |
