Default [Cloudflare] pluralsight.com not working any more, saying "plugin outdated?"

Have a premium account (currently free week), and I started getting the "try restarting this link (plugin outdated?)" message yesterday (10/15/2021) afternoon. It was working in the morning, but started giving the error shortly around noon EDT (I think).

I have deleted the links and re-added them, but it keeps giving me the error. I do not have a proxy, and use WOW for my ISP, Windows 10 for my OS. Also tried updating jdownloader, but it says it's the current version.

Here's the log link:
Log: 15.10.21 14.59.26 <--> 16.10.21 15.47.21 jdlog://9639825302851/

This is my first post, so please let me know if there is anything else that is needed.

Thanks!

Plugalsight is now using Cloudflare protection, see https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=83712
Until cloudflare support is possible/has been added, this won't be supported by JDownloader
You might wanna try the following method, see
https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...aming-websites

Default Pluralsight plugin outdated

Hi, downloader worked fine two weeks ago, and then few days ago it first stopped recognizing my login credentials for Pluralsight (I checked them, they are correct), and after I reinstalled JDownloader i started receiving message that the "plugin is outdated".

Please be so kind and provide new plugin.

Let me know if my login info is needed.

Thanks.

@vlad
If it's only about the login (adding your pluralsight account to JD), you can try this method.
If you're lucky it may help.

Default Video Download Helper add-on works

Thanks, guys.

@Jiaz I've applied your way, shown it thread https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...aming-websites
And it works. Video DownloadHelper add-on is functional alternative, but of course every part of the course has to be downoladed separately.

Thanks once again for such a quick response.

@vlad: Thanks for the feedback. Though there is no guarantee that it works, it just might work

Default Pluralsight.com Login issues

Hi admin,

Seems Pluralsight.com is blocking Jdownloader 2. Get a cloudflare failure error in the account manager menu.

Any help to resolve this would be awesome thanks.

@Some_SAguy: They are not blocking JDownloader. They just use cloudflare for protection.

Default Any update

Just wanted to see if there were any updates on this. Another free week, but still getting the "plugin outdated" error. Last time that happened, I was able to download files from a different computer, but now none of mine are working (Windows or Linux). Windows would at least login and attempt to dl before getting the outdated error, but Linux got the error as soon as I tried to log in, and then temporarily disabled my account...

I'm not getting any Cloudflare errors, just outdated ones...

Any update would be handy.

Thanks!

Current log (Linux), if that helps:

@han_solo81: login shows that the plugin fails on login. please create a debug log.
Enable Settings->Advanced Settings->Log.debugmodeenabled
and restart JDownloader. wait for error to happen again and create log, see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs and post shown logID here

Ok, enabled logging and had the same thing happen. Here's the log file:
30.04.22 13.40.54 <--> 30.04.22 13.42.14 jdlog://5398925302851/

Thanks for looking in to that!

@han_solo81: login process is blocked/protected by cloudflare.
You may try to use cookie login method, see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...n-instructions

I gave up on that computer, as it failed at login, and tried it on a different computer that at least logs me in and seems to at least recognize the videos I'm trying to DL. Here's the log for this attempt: 02.05.22 08.46.22 <--> 02.05.22 09.10.17 jdlog://4109925302851/
Wondering if the DLs are being blocked by cloudflare too...

Thanks again!

han_solo81: server just responds with "forbidden". Do you have access to that course with your account? I can't test/provide more information without having access to the account and test it myself and try to find out what is going

I do, and I'm able to watch the videos in the browser. Since JD2 doesn't seem to be currently working with Pluralsight, I tried the Video DownloadHelper on Linux (since you don't have to pay and don't have the 2 hour wait between DLs), but I'm only able to DL the video with no sound... quite annoying... :-P Darn you Pluralsight!

@han_solo81: I could dig deeper and check/try to fix the issue but I need example links and username/password. You can send to support@jdownloader.org

Sounds like you did not follow our instructions properly.
--> Try to download that video with VideoDownloadHelper-only, do not use JDownloader in this case.

I know this is a few months old, but another free weekend is coming up... lol... Would something like Flaresolverr work alongside jdownloader? or have you tried to get it to work with it? Not sure if that will even allow the downloads or not. I know it works for my movie/tv show "collecting", and it just made me think about this. Just thought I'd throw that out there. Thanks!

@han_solo8: as far as I can tell Flaresolverr doesn't work as a normal socks/http proxy but can be used to do requests for you. don't see how it would work together with JDownloader.
