[Question] Multiple proxy usage per chunk
Hello.
I'm in the situation where I must use speed-limited (ex. MAX 100KB/s) proxies to download files (no Free/Premium hosting, just direct downloads). I've tried a rudimentary way of splitting a file in chunks using curl, specifying a different proxy for each chunk, and i've managed to achieve decent connection speeds by using these proxies in parallel. Now for my question, is there a way to do this using jdownloader? I have tried adding the proxies and using the GeneralSettings.freeproxybalancemode option, but from my tests it seems to only use a different proxy for each simultaneous download, but not for different chunks of a single download. Thanks. |

Sorry but for chunks this is neither possible nor planned.
In a lot of situations this doesn't make any sense as websites tie generated download-urls to the IP they were generated with. (Yes I've read your post, yours are directurls without IP restrictions.) If you want to do this in JDownloader, feel free to modify the source code accordingly, see: https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...up-ide-eclipse

Hello, i'm not sure if what I want is exactly the same or what,
but you said that download url are tied to the ip, but it doesn't change anything if only one file is generated by proxy, as in the end it's the same file so it could be possible to use multiple chunks Last edited by mafourti; 24.09.2023 at 19:32. |
