Hi!

I hope to be posting in the correct area

Through another download manager I am getting speeds almost ten times higher than the speeds achieved in JDownloader on Hotlink.cc links

I'm a free user

The speed I obtain achieve today in JDownloader is the same as I always managed before (it has not slowed down)
However, I was not getting to start the downloads of hotlink.cc through JDownloader (problem already solved), so I went to download it in another download manager, and in this other manager the speed reached is much higher

I would prefer to continue using JDownloader for downloads from this Host, as everything is more automated, however I would like to achieve a higher transfer rate

Is there anything that can be done so that with Jdownloader I can achieve a higher speed in downloads from this host?

Hi,
Please post example URLs.
Which other downloadmanager are you using?
What was the speed there?
What are your connections settings in JD and that other software?

My free speed via browser is exactly the same as via JD: ~40KB/s
Is there maybe only a difference when going through the pre-download pages with adblock disabled?

Here are some example URLs where the speed reached was much higher than the speed reached in Jdownloader:

I use default connection settings on both
I leave Adblock enabled when browsing this host's pages

Downloading via browser the speeds achieved here also are the same as in Jdownloader, also ~40KB/s. Only through the other download manager (IDM) I was able to reach much higher speeds, around 350KB/s

However in others URLs of this host, the IDM was unable to start the download (Error message that the connection was aborted by Hotlink.cc).
Example URLs below in which the download did not start on the IDM:

I believe it is something that you can’t help me, because as there are other URLs on IDM that don’t even start, then apparently it must any error from Hotlink.cc itself

Hi,
regarding your speed issues:
Our plugin had outdated hardcoded connection-limits which I've removed with the next update.
Just increase the number of chunks e.g. to 10 and you'll get the same speeds you got via this other downloadmanager:

Regarding the two un-downloadable files:
I can download them just fine so I guess it was temporary issues.
Also I wouldn't be able to help anyways.
In such cases you need to contact the support of that website (hotlink.cc) and ask them to fix it.
