Question "Set Download Directory" in Linux Mint to External Drive?

I know I'm missing something, but literally all I can choose from when I go to "Set Download Directory" in Linux Mint is my "Home" folder, my "Home/Downloads" folder, and the "/" folder with all the three letter folders in it ("app", "bin", "dev", "etc", etc).

How do I set something to download to one of my external drives? "Mnt" and "media" are conspicuously absent from my "/" folder, or I'd get to them from there.

I'm coming over from Windows where I never had any problems with JD2, and am sure this is a button I haven't pushed yet, but I just can't find it! Help? Thanks!

@Garloo: see https://board.jdownloader.org/showth...highlight=snap
the 3rd party snap/flat package from store is restricted to download folder only
Either customize the configuration of those packages or install JDownloader normally
https://jdownloader.org/download/index

download the installer.sh file, rightclick, set executable flag and then you can start it via double click
