Update today and problems starting (JD Crash)

Startup Error:

Me too, same as above. Also running Win 7 and updated Java.

Run Jdownloader from windows start menu it is working now it updates and jdownloader starts

Same here, but:

It seems to be an unfinished download/update.
After manually starting updater.jar in jdownloader directory and successful update everything works fine again.

for all linux enthusiasts:

I'm using fedora17 on 3.5.0.2 kernel, JDL did not start as I'm using the following command:

java -jar "/directory/JDownloader.jar"
, this did not work anymore.


As stardealer mentioned you've to start the Updater.

So, just do:
Quote:
java -jar "/directory/Updater.jar"
and the "missing" files are going to be updated and everything works fine after updating.

You can use Updater.jar to restore/fix your local installation!

Ich habe das gleiche Problem und mir bereits das Installer/Reparaturprogramm heruntergeladen. Aber wo ist der JDownloader-Ordner versteckt? Ich finde in auch nicht über die Suchfunktion. Auch kein AppWorks und kein Core.jar?

in %AppData% liegt dein JDownloader.

Tausend Dank für die schnelle Antwort! Leider bin ich nicht so pc-fix. Wenn ich diese Datei in's Suchfeld eingebe führt er mich nur zu /Windows/AMD64.
