Default account usage rule creation broken.

under settings>account manager>usage rules(tab) after you select a host and click create group it gives no options to add custom host options under the group. I was trying to configure jdownloader to use grab8 for specific hosts but it's not listed as an option.

I'm sorry but I don't understand. Can you please explain better? or provide screenshots?
The supported host listings are fetched from the multihoster, same for grab8

Grab8 has changed website and list of supported hosts no longer works. Wait for next plugin update

thanks, grab8 seems to be working.

though you should probably remove of the add group button for now. until you have the rest of the interface to go with it. when/if you do get it working you should see fewer requests for multi-hoster fixes at the very least.

Thanks for the feedback. Why remove the *add group* button? it works as expected, so why remove it? You can add new group in list, change its mode and order and assign accounts to it

it'd be fine if users were manually adding/removing accounts to the list. but jdownloader automatically adds/removes accounts based on active status. meaning the list is unlikely to be long enough for organizing by groups to make sense. logically I don't see any person using more then 2 multi-hosters at a time. however I do see people keeping old ones in a disabled group as a reminder of which multi-hosters they used in the past that worked with a specific file host.

Multihoster plugins fetch those information from host as the list of supported hosts does change over time and it makes no sense to manually add accounts to the list, that doesn't support the current host.

I don't see any advantage over spending time to remove a working feature. It works as intended and just because you don't see any use case for it doesn't mean that other ppls don't usw it. I know power users that have easily more than 10 accounts.
