Same problem here, I was downloading at full speed 2 weeks ago.
Can somebody give me the k2s referrer everybody talks about here by private message ?

That suck that they fixed the download speed, but what is the status with the resume function?
As far as I know you could resume downloads from these hosters with Jdownloader for a very long time (not sure if it was like that from the beginning), did they do something that prevents it from resuming the downloads or is it a Jdownloader issue?

Do you get the URLs like this?
Can you send me an URL to the source website via PN?

If this type of URL is widespread we could easily just accept them like this and then automatically grab the referrer from inside the URL which would then override the general "Custom Referrer" setting for those single URLs which have an individual Referrer given

You could have easily tested this via browser to confirm that it does NOT work (anymore?)
I've just tested it and indeed, resume does not work (anymore) in free mode.
Seems like resume support for freeusers was part of the "free high speed bug".
Also if you look at their website, resume is listed as a premium feature so I guess this means it is not a free feature

Default Question about Custom Referrer.
Hi.

I have been using JDownloader for a few months however I am still a bit of a noob at all this. As of a few days I notice that the speeds for K2S & Fileboom for free users has been reduced. So any big files that I am trying to download keep getting interrupted. I did some searches here on the forums and everywhere I hear the word "Custom Referrer".

What is this? And where can I find a Custom Referrer so that my JD speeds to download from K2S, FileBoom, Filepsace & RapidGator can go back to 150kbps.

Any help would be appreciated!

Sorry new to Jdownloader, when I actually find out a referrer is it entered in settings - plugins - "set custom referrer here" or are people talking about tools in the browser such as chrome?

Settings --> Plugin Settings --> <name_of_service> --> Set Custom Referrer

To use a custom Referrer in your browser you will usually need browser addons which can modify http headers.

Default Been trying to download a file since 1 week and still can't from tez and K2S
alright i've been trying to download from K2S and Tezfile from past 1 week and still haven't completed it, my uptime of my PC itself like 12 days, when i come back home they'll be randomly downloading from the beginning, the whole reason i fell in love with Jd2 was i can resume unlike IDM, but what the actual F? how to fix this?

We can't fix it. The hoster k2s/fboom/tez specifically changed their settings so you have ultra slow speeds and can not resume downloads as a free user any longer. I run jdownloader on a server at leaseweb, the connection is 100% stable yet even my k2s downloads simply stop half way through, then start over at 0% now.

Promise to never buy a premium from these guys because that is what they try to do, bully us into buying premium.

this is so super annoying. Really liked to download from fileboom and keep2share, but now it is absolutely ridiculous! Will completely avoid from now on...

Yep, i agree this is very annoying, but in my experience i'm getting good speed from the 2nd file i download with one ip. I mean, change the ip and the first download stinks, low speed, download broken, but when it finalizes and i wait the x minutes till next download, the speed is better.

I don't know if there is an isp factor but this is happening to me with this hoster. I hope this guys don't enter in my sh**ty hosting list.

I start the download and it stops at 16mb and starts again at 0mb.
Without the resume I can't download anything.
If anyone can help me it will be very welcome!
