Default option to ignore password requested pop-ups?

Hi,

For some reason, I have been scouting Vimeo.com URLs lately. However, some of the videos they link to have passwords, and then the password requested window pops up, awaiting for instructions.
Is there a way to avoid that? Some option that would tell Jdownloader that password-protected videos should not be treated by the link grabber?

Many thanks in advance.

At the moment, such a feature doesn't exist.
There are multiple ways we could add this feature
1.) Plugin Settings, checkbox to disable ask for password
-> disadvantage: you forget about the disabled checkbox and wonder why adding doesn't work
2.) you append special paramater (for example, #noask) at the end of the url to inform JDownloader NOT to ask for passwords
-> disadvantage: you have to adapt each url
3.) customizable timeout (autoclose) for such links

Of course #1 would be the solution that most closely answers my issue, but #3 sounds pretty reasonable - timer by default is 10 minutes, which sounds very long to me. If I could set it to 30 or 60 seconds, that would mostly solve my issue.

Not sure of Vimeo's video shares and login stuff but, often one runs across such as this from youtube > **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** which according to jd shows an error in the link grabber and as off line also stating something similar to sign in to confirm your age ... etc.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in answering.
Here are three videos I uploaded - two are public, one is password-locked. In case it's needed, password is "test".
Let me know if you need more uploads or different settings to go forward. Thanks
