Default "No permissions to write to hard disk" error

Recently I have been getting a lot of “no permissions to write to hard disk” type of error.

I have never had this problem before!

Win XP Pro SP3, JD version 0.9.581, Java 6.0.350, Norton Internet Security 2011, Prevx.

Thank you in advance!

Forgot to add that I only download from ddlstorage as a premium user...and lately I have been also experiencing extremely low download speed! Right now the downloads that are actually running are all going at a speed between 1.00 KB/s and 15.00 KB/s.

I have set Max. Con. to 1 and Max.Dls. to 12...

uninstall norton and try again, cant access logs currently, if norton is scanning for port 80 activity in realtime this can have huge affect on dls. Some scanners delay speed graph activity and some cause connection errors.

Or just simply add java and java to norton exclusions list

I had already added both JD and java to Norton exclusion list!

I've got the same problem as well regarding the speed.

I've posted already a new thread about this issue.

Definitely it's not Norton causing that.

Somehow the problem has been solved...probably it was due to the extremely low download speed!

Many thanks to all of you who provided assistance and feedback!
