Minimize does not work properly in OS X El Capitan
Hi,
it seems that the minimize functionality is not working properly anymore. There was/is a similar problem on Windows, but I also experience it on my Mac. To reproduce the bug, follow these steps: - Start JDownloader - Set it up to minimize to the info area when clicking on the red X (close) - Click on the red X (close) - You will see the window minimizing to the dock in an animation and then disappear. I have a JDownloader shortcut in my dock. When I click that one to make it appear in the foreground again it appears and then right away minimizes into the dock, but now it's visible on the right side - I have to click again on my shortcut to finally make it maximizing again This was not there in versions that were current 2 weeks ago. Please investigate. If you need any help I can show it do you. |

Yes of course,
just drop me a PN or reply to this thread if you need any help. I've just verified it again with an older JDownloader installation on another Mac. It worked perfectly before the update and doesn't anymore after the latest update has been applied. |

There's still no progress on this. I know it might not be a major bug, but it's still very annoying. Is it possible to increase the importance on this one?

Still no update on that bug. It's nearly been 2 months that this doesn't work and it's seriously annoying.
I can't believe that this bug hasn't been reported by other Mac users. Can the priority please put up a bit? It really shouldn't be a big deal to fix this. Thanks, crypto |

far as I know the mac min/max was solved last year. Maybe it has come back with el capitan, but you're the only personal reporting it (unlike last time). Also keep in mind that some of our svn tickets live for longer than 6 years, please have patience.

We first need to be able to reproduce the issue and then find time for it. We don't have any active mac developers at the moment

Hi,
it's definitely not El Capitan related. The bug was introduced roughly in the mid of February with a Core update. It wasn't present before and I've installed El Capitan since its release. Maybe you can check the changes you've done in February to track down the bug. The issue shouldn't be hard to reproduce. Just minimize the window and then click on the dock icon to get it back. You'll immediately see what's going on. Thanks and best regards, crypto |
