Default Issue with changing capitalization in Linkgrabber

Assume you have a package in the Linkgrabber called TEST.

Now, if you want to change the name of the package using the "Package name"-field in the "Package or Link Properties panel", JD2 will overrule whatever you enter with what it can find in the Linkgrabber-list, i.e. trying to change the name to "Test" will come out as "TEST".

To change the capitalization, you have to double-click the Package-name in the list and change the name there.

Thumbs down Cancel text autocompletion

how do I turn off that completely ILL ADVISED feature of text completion in the "Package Properties" area of the Link Grabber pane? it is a pain in the ass.

example: many uploaders are illiterate. they'll title a package "absc334" when it should be "ABSC-334." but because of the unthunk auto complete feature, there is NO WAY that I can capitalize the letters, because it won't let me -- it always changes my entry BACK to the lowercase letters.

Unless I do something like add a space or a different letter at the beginning -- and then go back and delete it.

It is a NONSENSE feature, the antithesis of user friendliness and elegant design. And that's so typical of the overloaded crapola that is the JAVA programming language and the mindset of Java programmers.

Someone please tell me how to kill it.
