Default Clean finished download list but keep passwords

Sometimes I needed an option like that I guess you have to.

So when you delete or clean the list of downloaded files it also deletes any password that was set to that file ( for unpacking). Thing is , if you also disabled automatic extraction of downloaded file, you end up with an archive ( unpacked) and no clue where you downloaded that file from. Specially annoying on large downloads , browser cleaning or just several downloads per day.

So my suggestions it to keep a passwords record file each file name.

This is a user feedback and I would like to tag this post as so but I don't see where it is done. Sorry.

@Lucky8: I'm sorry but I don't understand. do you mean you remove the files from list in JDownloader but the archives are not extracted yet? I'm asking because you write *you end up with an archive unpacked*? I guess you mean packed archive? So you have archive files on disk but no longer any reference to password or the source of the links?

Why don't you let JDownloader extract the archives while the links/passwords are still in list?
You are aware that you can use JDownloader to extract files on disk via Menu->Tools->Extract? JDownloader will auto try
extraction with its internal list of known passwords.

I would recommend to make use of Eventscripter, see https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=70525
and a script that write outs information file after download is finished. Please see that thread and ask in there for help/hints.
