Dir-655

Hi,

I am trying to configure the reconnect for my DIR-655. In the reconnect interface, I set the router to be DIR-655 and IP to be 198.162.0.1. When I clicked on Change IP, it said reconnection failed. How do I setup the reconnection for DIR655? Can someone help?

I have the same router and I am having the same problem. Did you ever resolve this?

You need to click on "Create Reconnection Script" as well.

i've had no success with configuring reconnect on this router no matter how i set it up on jdownloader. and another thing, it takes at least 5 minutes for the router to reconnect if I manually disconnect/reconnect the router through the web interface.

Then it might not be useful, because not only jD will be disconnected but also your other Internet applications.

How do you manually make the DIR-655 reconnect through the web interface? I can't even figure that out.

Read the manual of your router. It usually is an address like 192.168.0.1.

Then you need to find a button to restart, reboot, test or disconnect/connect the router. If you don't know how to do ot, you can also contact the manufacturer of your router.
