Actually I think everyone here know the risk, but I totally forgotten that the update backup mechanism is not in place like the one in JD1. Which kind of wipe out everything beyond repair. Sad to say after looking through a couple of folders, there seems to be no trace of backup being done by JD2, so guys start looking through your browser history =P. Anyway does anyone know how to roll back tot he last working version because even using the cached copy I could not get them not to look for the newest copy on the server.

Of course, but if is there a solution , no? someone have to ask.
The future can make a backup, just my opinion.

This is serious bug.
If you didn't backup downloadList.zip and linkcollector.zip files from cfg folder, your list are gone.

And again: It's a PRE-BETA, it's NOT made for daily usage

we are very sorry for the loss of links. will add an auto backup tomorrow and make sure that a failing load will not destroy linklists

I told jiaz about this after the first two posts. Considering it was after they already finished work for the day it's great to see him and coalado quickly addressed the issue in a timely manner.

Yeah thanks for the quick fix, although it annoys me that i lost everything I guess it is part of the sacrifice we have to pick up[ to help test the application. Someone got to bite the bullet right? Thanks for the swift plan to fix the bug.
