TERABOX downloading doesn't work - restarts all over again
I added one of my free Terabox accounts using Flag Cookies.
Then I tried to download 2 files shared from one of them. In all my attempts, using my local ISP, or 1.1.1.1 CloudFlare's (also their "WARP" option) I failed. The download starts fine, even faster than what I get with the PC desktop app, then it stops after a while, and restarts all over again. Example: 2 files which are 6.44 GB total; After less than 1 minute, interrupts downloading (with 6.1 GB left), then it's 6.44 GB AGAIN. This is the only host I saw with this problem. There is no resume and we are wasting time adding to JDW. I don't think this is your fault. But if it isn't, please clarify why does it matter to support this plugin, since it's not working AT ALL. |

Hi,
you're the first user who is reporting such problems with this filehost. It doesn't sound like a JDownloader issue but a log might be helpful nevertheless. Log instructions: https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs Also JDownloader does support resuming downloads from terabox.com ...

It's happening again and again. Since you wanted a log to prove this:
09.10.23 21.33.10 <--> 09.10.23 21.36.09 jdlog://0038311370661/ There you go, 3 public links and you will be unable to download 7.6 GB total, after 1 minute JDW will restart to 7.6 GB again, despite whatever DL speed it's showing. **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** It keeps restarting after a while, there is no resuming, no way to download the whole thing. If you are checking this, please try to download ALL 3 links, not just a small file. Adding, of course, some Terabox account there. I added account #2 for JDW, and I have another in my TERABOX desktop software, logged in. The account that hosts these 3 files is probably a 3rd one I created. All 3 are free, not PAID/premium. Regardless of the acc configured for JDW, it's a fact downloading from this server DOESN'T WORK. Unless, of course, you use their own app. And while I typed this, JDW showed another error: https://i.postimg.cc/NsG3DHY4/TEMP.jpg Last edited by Perene; 10.10.2023 at 02:48. |

Looks like terabox.com doesn't like users opening a lot of connections.
Try this: 1. Set max chunks to 1 and max downloads to <= 3. 2. Reset all failed items. 3. Try again. Works fine here. Our old download-core is bad at auto handling this situation so you will need to limit the number of connections yourself in this case. I can't see a plugin failure here.

It worked now. I had JDW configured before to:
20-20 For max chunks and downloads. Was this unwise for all types of servers? I thought that leaving these two settings at max would make sure I got multiple files from servers like Internet Archive with the best speeds... About the DL speeds JDW is showing me, it's 2 MB/s as expected, this is the max speed which is capped for free Terabox users, what I got using their desktop app. |

Quote:
Explanation: https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...ections-chunks Search for "Using higher values will not necessarily increase your download speed!". Sure - because speeds are the same for terabox app- and browser users. I'll mark this thread as solved.
