Default Avast webshield scanning Jdownloader traffic

Using Avast latest version, and one of its realtime modules is intercepting and scanning Jdownloader traffic causing needless high CPU spikes. Same thing happens with steam, but adding exclusions of

hxxp://valve*.*.steampowered.com/depot/*
hxxp://content*.steampowered.com/depot/*/chunk/*

lowers the CPU spikes to a manageable levels. Is there something, specifically url like that for Jdownloader 2 beta? Adding Jdownloader.exe to exclusions and doesn't do anything, I think it has to be some url. I tried asking in the Avast forum, but nobody replied.

Far as I'm aware avast webshield causes all sorts of issues for JDownloader. I have seen chunking issues derived from this product. The only solution I found was to fully disable webshield as they only give you whitelist function per domain and not application, and this is not adequate/practical for JDownloader because of how it connects to many services. It's really poor form by Avast to create such a feature which can't be configured based on application.

Sigh... it seems that way. I will try to add a few domains then. Do you know how to add for example, gamefront? It is only a problem when I do big downloads with gamefront for example.

sorry no idea, I don't use that site. I would say disabling feature for when you want to download, is easier than messing with Avast fugly interface.

for memory webshield has no settings for exemptions based on application, it only has that for antivirus/firewall stuff. Webshield they seem to only do it via URL!

Yup, like you stated before. I just wanted to know the url exception in webshield so I can add a few exceptions to the file host that I use most. For example, I added for example hxxp://www.gamefront.com/* to webshield exceptions and it didn't do anything.
