Default Jdownloader show Error Forced SSL

If you have Premium Account in Rapidshare and you get Forced SSL or Fatal Error during a download. You have to log onto rapidshare. Goto Settings and change the SSL to OFF.

This setting is not in Jdownloader. It is in the host settings.

Hope this helps

I am a free user of Rapidshare and I use a shared proxy connection provided by my college.

Since the new rapidshare interface, if someone else is downloading a file from rapidshare, then I get this message

"You need rapidpro to download more files from your IP address."

which is all right but there is no waiting time and I have to manually reset and try for each and every file. Earlier there used to be a 2 minutes waiting time for auto retry.

Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

Cool

@itisravi

The reset isn't normal.

I believe there was a 5 minutes waiting time, but it has been increased to around 16 minutes recently. If you're sharing an IP address and a host with many other people chances become very small that you'll be able to download anything from that host. Try some external proxies or hosts that nobody else uses.

What do you mean with "recover"?

If you want to resume RS links then you need to have a premium account.

When A download is completed then for the next file, there is a 16 mins. waiting time and after that time next download does start.

But when a download is already ongoing from some other computer using the same IP, then if I, suppose, enter 20 files in queue for download, then all of them show the error message I mentioned above, but there is no waiting time this time. There is no further connection attempt unless I reset them manually.

And sadly there is only one proxy I can use.

Hi there, I'm not sure if the problem I'm having is related to this.

Two days ago I started having slow speeds in JDownloader with my rapidshare premium account. Before I could obtain speeds close to 14MBytes/s and 20 connections for file but now I only get 1 connection and speed close to 340kbytes/s.
Do you know if this problem is in anyway related with the one being discussed right now?

Thank you all for your help
Regards

That's a message I haven't seen yet. Where do you see that message?

Are other people sharing your IP address?

Are you sure you aren't downloading another RS file?

No, it isn't.

Allow java and javaw in your firewall and virus software. Disable (or un-install) the port 80/html/web scanner in your virus software.

If this doesn't help un-install all that Windoze defence software and restart your computer. You don't need to be afraid for not having a software firewall when you've one in your router.

I have used jdownloader for a long time without any problems. with rapidshares recent updates all of a sudden i was getting errors when the links were definitely good and my traffic was definitely there. It would let me download from rapidshare via my browser but not jdownloader. This is what fixed the error for me.

So to avoid the error:

1. make sure you have traffic left
2. make sure the links are alive
3. make sure Direct Downloads is ON
4. make sure SSL is OFF.

ps: this shouldnt need to be said but make sure you have the correct username and password put into jdownloader.

I just found out that Rapidshare nolonger provides 99Rapids Package more. It's now 495Rapids for Rapidpro and you will get error "Your Rapidpro was expired" if you ran out of Rapids or your Rapids is not enough for 495Rapids to extend your Rapidpro Package.

That means even Rapidshare say Account Premium won't be expired anymore but your Rapidpro will replace the thing named "Account Premium" to be expired.

So i support Jdownloader Team should make plugin Rapidshare with the displayed Expired Date as Rapidpro's Expired Date in Rapidshare Account. That will be much easy to JDownloader to know which one was expired.

Oh, don't forget the automatical skipping expired account funtion for JDownloader.

Sorry about my bad bad English.

Don't push your thread too soon.

Why wouldn't RS be able to choose the server? They belong to them. They can choose whatever server they want.

Default Rapidshare - Autorename Fail

I have noticed with the new Rapidshare changes, and JD updates to resolve them, that somewhere along the line the autorename function that is supposed to automatically rename files with the same name in the same directory, is instead just skipping the file, and listing it as "file not found"

I have manually checked these links, and they are live, so I have included the log and RS links for review:

Log:
http://jdownloader.org/pastebin/13822

Links:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

To simulate the error, you must first download, or have a previous file named "1.avi" before the links above will change from active to file not found.

Also, as I only have RS links at the moment, this may also apply to other hosts, and actually be a JD issue in general - but I haven't been able to check other host links.

Thanks

EDIT
I noticed in the log that it appears it might be renaming the online URL to match the file path name change, which would cause the file not found error, but I'm not 100% sure.

Default Rapidshare download links always "No Connection"

When I'm downloading from rapidshare (Premium account) most fo the links goes "No Connection" and I need every few seconds to "Resume" them otherwise speed goes to 1-30 KB...

I can't download from rapidshare with premium.
Rapidshare changed settings since last night as i recognized.

I now have no premium traffic left to use even if i have traffic left.
The calculation is also wrong because JD thinks there are 5 GB packages for 14 Rp, but they aren't. Now 100GB for 280 Rp is the least package you can use (which of course sucks, but that is not JDs fault)

Is there a fix in progress or anyone else with this problem?

Just working fine now. Dunno why.

I just enabled/disabled RS Happy Hour option. Don#t know if that helped in any kind of way.

from another thread:

the 3 RS file was detected online before i add them with "download all"

i have added the 4th file idea3a.zip (a new quick RS upload today) and it worked well
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

With the failed file, i have sometimes on my browser

****************************************************

File not available
The following file is not available:

**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** KB

The file of the above link no longer exists. This could be for several reasons:
* The uploader deleted the file
* The file contained illegal contents and was deleted from our Abuse team
* The file is incorrect
* The file was uploaded through a free Account and reached the maximum number of downloads
You need RapidPro to download more files from your IP address.
************************************************

I launch again the link on my browser and i can see the coutdown.

Default rapidshare problem

for some reason, jDOWN no longer seems to work with rapidshare links -

I copy the http:/www address into the add link / add URL dialogue, then I push "Parse URL" and NOTHING comes up in the LinkGrabber screen.

No idea what's going on - other services (mediafire etc) seem to be working. I don't think it's a problem of free account vs. premium account. no idea what's going on!

mipony and freerapid works well, i'm sure they do not use API which seems to block some files for unknown reason... for the same file with 100 tries it worked 3 times; 97 was bad...

i hate to use a competitor but it is good 4 testing

thats beacuse of the maximum connection per file setting on the main JD window bottom right corner You have to lower that setting > set it to 2-4 and then reset the download by right clicking on it via context menu.

I have a problem that occured today.
When opening a dlc (the page claims that the files are online) jdownloader initially sais that the files are online.
But when I want to start the download it sais, that the file is not found.

bit curious

All of you:

Please read the Hoster Plugins Rules.

--------------------------
1) Provide the information described in the documents. At least provide several URLs that work in a browser, but not in JDownloader.
2) Make sure your antivirus does not read the data being downloaded. See General Discussion -> Self Help Index -> Choosing and Using Security Software.
3) Make sure your Firewall allows JDownloader.exe, Javaw.exe, and Java.exe full rights to output on any port to any IP address and to listen on any local port.
4) If you are using a premium account (RapidPro), then e-mail the URL of the message you have posted and your login information to support@jdownloader.org.

5) Never post scraps of logs, upload the entire log.
