By the title I think you may be having the same problem I'm having. Trying to download a video from openload opens a browser window with the recaptcha test for me to complete. It was working a couple of days ago. Now the recaptcha box shows a message saying that "localhost" is not in the list of supported domains for this site key. It looks like Jdownloader opens the recaptcha for openload on a web server hosted on the local machine hence the localhost domain. The recaptcha support states that the "localhost" domain is no longer available by default for development and if it needs to be used for development site key owner must add it to a list of trusted domains. The captcha solving web page recommends installing My.Jdownloader browser extension to "get more readable and solvable captchas" but I doubt it would be of any use is this case.

Did it find a work around this problem?

So it seems that installing the extension does solve the problem, but an update was rolled out. After updating JD and installing the extension all is good.

Thankfully you don't have to create or connect to a MyJDownloader account in order to get the recaptcha problem solved.

We don't want to force you into MyJDownloader if you don't need/want it

I'm using MyJDownloader now but I'd prefer not to use two separate browsers.

Hi,

Unfortunately, there's no Safari extension so I have to have an open MyJDownloader page, I guess...

Just another reason to "don't like" google.

@Maelcum: Safari does not (yet) support so called webextensions and therefore we have to wait till it does. Webextensions are an extensions standard that allows to use the exact same extension on all supported browsers. The easiest *workaround* would be to install a second browser and only use it for JDownloader and use Safari as default as before.
