Yeah, tell me what they replied. If the anti-rcaptcha method you're going to try doesn't work send them another angry e-mail.

Default Filesonic Plugin Error

Hallo,

Solution to server error of filesonic:
Ad-Muncher was responsible for the problems. It's an anti-advertising program.

Default filesonic and wupload conflict

I downloaded some files that had filesonic and wupload mirrors, and was not able to download from both services at the same time. Got a message "this IP is already downloading". It's no problem to download from one of the services in JD and the other directly from their website, they just don't work together in JD at the same time.

Disabling a virus doesn't kill it. You need to try to un-install it. You might need special removal tools and a registry cleaner. Also reboot your PC after the removal procedure.

@Remi

I've uninstalled the AV, cleaned the registry, and also restarted the PC,
the problems still occur with No-AntiVirus n Disabled Firewall system,
i think i'll take the last action by clean reinstall the JD tomorrow,
hopefully it can help :D

Hello,

I'm sorry if this has been asked in this thread before, I haven't read all the pages.

I also ran into filesonic problem today. I have latest version of jdownloader running on Mac OS X Lion 10.7.1. I have filesonic premium account and it is enabled in JD. I'm also logged in on filesonic website on my browser. Today when I tried to download something from filesonic it kept asking me to fill the captcha.

Any help to resolve this issue would be appreciated, thanking in advance

@msalman86

First test your account in your browser. If your password contains special characters, please change it.

Enable the option "Enable Premium globally" in the Premium menu.

Allow java and javaw in your firewall and virus software. Disable (or un-install) the html/web download scanner in your virus software.

Then remove your account, restart jD, and add the account again.

If this wouldn't work, please provide a complete and detailed log.

Default Filesonic downloads suddenly not working

Filesonic via JDownloader is suddenly not working.

My Filesonic account is paid up.

I always use JD -- have over a year experience -- and it is up-to-date.

Linkgrabber works fine (shows Status of Filesonics files as online and good when appropriate), but when I try to download (move file to JD Download pane) any Filesonic file, I get "File not found". I can download all other hosts' files fine (Fileserve, Megaupload, etc) using JD -- so only Filesonic affected.

I can go directly to Filesonic and download the old-fashioned way.

... So, some kind of JD/Filesonic issue (maybe temporary)??

I've been using JD and Filesonic for quite some time, but this snag is completely new to me. I've tried everything -- reset router, re-booted PC, updated all software versions -- and seem to have reached a dead end.
Please help!

Thx!

BTW: How do I back up the downloadlist manually (is there a file/folder in C:\Program Files\JDownloader ??). P.S> I can copy all URLs into a text file -- is this is safest way (is there anyway more convenient?)

If you can download them with your browser something is blocking jD. I recommend to :-

1) Allow java and javaw in your firewall and virus software. Disable (or un-install) the html/web download scanner in your virus software.

2) Reduce the Max.Con. setting (bottom right corner of jD window) to 1. Reset the affected links.

If your password contains special characters, please change it.

Then remove your account, restart jD, and add the account again.

If this wouldn't work, please provide a complete and detailed log.

You can make a backup version of your link list by using jD's "Save Linklist" feature (File -> Save). If you also want to make a backup version of your configuration together with the links and their status you can use the Backup (Ctrl-B) feature in the same menu.

Default Wupload and Filesonic "Server Error"

Hello

I have problem with JD, since always I think. Can't download from Filesonic and Wupload. When I open link in browser everything goes fine.

I found here some steps which I did:

1) Please, execute File -> Restore JD or exit jD and launch jdupdate.jar in your jD program folder.

2) Allow java and javaw in your firewall and virus software. Disable (or un-install) the html/web download scanner in your virus software.

3) Reduce the Max.Con. setting (bottom right corner of jD window) to 1. Reset the affected links.

When I make what is written in 1 step, I can download from Filesonic and Wupload fine... But when I close JD and open another time I get my lovely "Server error"...

Reinstalled today Jdownloader, Java. Nothing changed.

I hope someone will help me.

HELPED MYSELF WITH INFORMATIONS ON THIS FORUM, I KNOW, SHOULD READ BEFORE ASKING. THE REASON WAS AD MUNCHER, ADDED EXEMPTION AND IT WORKS.

Default Jdownloader needs to be restarted to apply premium account.

Didnt know where to post this... but jdownloader needs to be restarted for the premium to be applied. Is there a way to apply premium account without restarting?

PS. I am using filesonic premium account,

New problem for filesonic. when i try to download this link **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** using jdownloader, jd tries to download but wont succeed and get message as download failed. But when i use browser, there is no countdown and after i entering captcha the download link will be available. usually the captcha will come only after 30seconds. but in this case no countdown. i tried some other filesonic links (100mb links) using browser firefox v6.02. Surprise that 30s countdown is there. i dont have premium account. but the uploader has changed the filesize limit of download from 400mb to 1gb. my jre details are JDownloader -NIGHTLY- Build 14965
Java Vendor: Sun Microsystems Inc.
Java Version: 1.6.0_27

Tested your example link and download started ~200KB/sec in stable.

Can you provide some logs which might indicate what might be causing this problem http://jdownloader.org/knowledge/wik...reate-a-jd-log
(if you restart start some new downloads to invoke some errors. )
then give me the pastebin url here.

When I updated to -NIGHTLY- Build 14965 a few hours ago, Filesonic links stopped working (as mentioned here: http://board.jdownloader.org/showpos...07&postcount=9 ).

Here's a sample link that I just tried to download:

**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

After a long wait while the status was "Connecting", the link failed and the status column showed "Host problem? Wait (etc.)".

Here's a link to a logfile:

http://jdownloader.org/pastebin/53039

Hope this is easy to clear up...

Please use the stable version for FSc if you're a tester. In the stable version FSc works fine atm.

EDIT:

wupload also works fine here. Please create a new thread (in the Nightly forum if you're tester) if there isn't a wupload thread yet.

Hi, i use the Nightly Version and after allowing the update to JDownloader -NIGHTLY- Build 14965 i also had the problems with Filesonic (free) and Wupload (free). The plugins try to connect and after several times filesonic says file not found or plugin outdated or hoster problem, and wupload tells that my ip has suspicious behavior and is blocked für 6 hours.
Well i said i had the problems since changing the hoster classes back to the Version before (Filesonic 14691, wupload 14958) solves the problem for me. At least for the free Version

Just for the record....

Default no JAC method

Hi,

I've just started having a problem with Filesonic and im not sure if its related to the same issue everyone else in this thread is having.

I have a premium Filesonic account but for some reason now im getting prompted to enter a captcha code before it will start downloading.

If i go into my premium account settings in JD I can see my filesonic account is there and active.

i found this error in the log:
There is no JAC method for the service filesonic.com

Is anyone else having this issue?

Thanks
Steven

Are you sure you enabled "Enable Premium Globally"? Do you see a yellow key icon in the Host column for your FSc downloads?

omg thats embarrasing... "Enable Premium globally" was enabled however "enable premium" did not have a tick next to my account..

It is weird though cos i i've been using this for a while and i know i never removed the tick..

Thanks for your help.
