Good afternoon. Let me explain the situation. The site from which I download files I do not open without VPN. But at the same time, if I turn on VPN, I copy from the site a few dozen links to pages with video files that I want to download (site chan.sankakucomplex.com). I send them for analysis in the downloader, and after the analysis and start downloading disable VPN, then the files continue to download
Important clarification that without VPN files are downloaded with the maximum speed of my Internet provider, and with enabled VPN speed is much lower I assume that the files are downloaded from another domain of this site. And this domain is apparently not blocked by my internet provider. Otherwise downloading files would be interrupted when VPN is turned off. Question. Is there any way I can find out the actual download link of the file? That would recognize this domain and put it in the exceptions of my VPN. In other downloaders and in Google Chrome browser downloader the link to the file itself is displayed, but not the link to the page from which it was downloaded.... |

@K14M: please see https://board.jdownloader.org/showpo...8&postcount=12
most likely you add the link the wrong way. Without knowing how/what exactly you're adding, we can't really provide help. It heavily depends how and what link you're adding. Also about VPN Speed, have you checked speedtest sites with/without VPN? What VPN(type) is it? What speed do you get and what speed do you expect? eg try with speedtest.net

The link I'm adding looks like this
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** And the download link apparently looks something like this **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** At least the browser shows me such a link if I download it manually through the browser. But this way you have to download each file separately, which is very long and not convenient. Quote:
* Either the servers of this tester are located outside my country, and the route to these servers is not too optimal. * Or the operation of this site is somehow limited in my country According to the tariff, my Internet speed is 50 Mbps per second. But the speed test (not on speedtest.net ) shows the speed from 50 to 100 megabits. And the files are downloaded at about the same speed. To the website speedtest.net it shows that my download speed is only 1 megabit, and the sending speed is about 100 megabits. ![]() |

@K14M: looks like some issue with the VPN as download is really really really bad but upload is great.
What client is it? do you have high cpu usage during the download speed test? JDownloader does not reveal/provide access to the actual download URL but you can see the host/domain by mouse over in connection column and tooltip will show that information
