I tried another app (made for YT downloads), and look what is showing: https://i.postimg.cc/vbxJ1G4L/TEST.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/RCzd0Cwk/TEST2.jpg (after a while) Oddly, the total size is fluctuating, but the download IS happening. Right now is almost 500 MB (it's 1h and in 1080p). In the end, the file was 100% downloaded. These are the specs: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** I don't know what this video specifically has that is so different of many others JDW can get from YT, but unless we have to wait 1-2 full days, it's not working. And this was odd to me because I used JDW to get COUNTLESS other videos, including finished livestreams. Note: it really takes HOURS for a finished livestream to be downloaded. But that one ended 3 PM, and I am writing at 12 AM. |

@Perene: Other tools may support live streams but we do not. And yes, converting can take some time, not only hours but even days.

I have problems with that too. Of the 5 live streams I captured yesterday, none can be downloaded today. Unsually, at this time, at least 2-3 would be downloadable.
But I also have the problem, that most of my videos currently show "Temporarily not avaliable" (Kurzzeitig nicht verfügbar). A few smaller videos and one larger one went through, also all pictures, texts, subtitles and audio files downloaded without problems, but all videos are stuck right now. And I think, this is also the problems why the live streams do not show that they are converted. |

Since you seem to have problems with the logs of my Laptop, where I have over 100 links "in limbo" in case they get available again later, here is the log from my PC, where I have the same problem (and only 1 link in limbo). I just grabbed a few of the videos that should download but don't to recreate the problem (which is the same as on the Laptop): Here is the log before debug: 17.01.25 13.26.52 <--> 17.01.25 13.22.03 jdlog://0728411370661/ Here it is after debug: 17.01.25 13.43.15 <--> 17.01.25 13.44.43 jdlog://1728411370661/ I did not renew the login chache, but that is not the problem - the problem was the same when the login cache was fresh. Just an update: The problem still persists. The majority of my videos and also some audio files from Youtube are "temporarily unavailable" since 3 days.

I'd like to download Videos and Shorts separately, but with the ability to add the channel name/title (e.g., "Uploads from *") to the Package Name or folder path. Is there any method to do so?
I know it is possible to separate downloads of Videos and Shorts using the Profile crawl mode -> Channel ('Videos' tab or the tab specified in the added URL), with URLs like: HTML Code:
- **External links are only visible to Support Staff** - **External links are only visible to Support Staff** Using the latter option, I have so far been utilizing a Packagizer Rule: Code:
Package Name [contains]* - Uploads from *Source URL(s) [contains]**External links are only visible to Support Staff**...then set Download DirectoryD:\jdownloader\[YouTube]\<jd:source:1> - <jd:orgpackagename:2>\Videos ![]() |

Hallo zusammen,
Grüße, Martin Last edited by m.fessler; 19.01.2025 at 13:01. |

@thomas-ed: you have check plugin settings that you can define package name pattern? Can you please provide actual real example links and tell us what you want to achieve(result look like). When I understand right, then in "Profile crawl mode -> Channel" the channel name property is missing?

Hi!
Whenever I try to download a video from YT (since Jan. 18th, I think), JD shows a "Content offline!Error" message asking to "Sign in to confirm you’re not a bot." It seems YT changed some of its rules (again). Will there be a fix for that? |

@schnaeppchen: "Sign in to confirm you’re not a bot." -> try IP change (VPN/Proxy/Reconnect) or login with your YT account. Please use board search

Thank you anyway for looking into it.
I noticed, I can only download when I'm not signed in, which means I cannot download age-restricted videos. And downloading is also slow and may take some time, as videos were initially shown as "temporarily not available" but eventually started downloading after they sit in the download window for some time. |

Have had no problem with YouTube for a long time. Get the same thing in both regular Windows install & Snap version in Ubuntu. I updated both & it didn't help. In Ubuntu I had no trouble with the same files with YTDownloader. (also Snap) I prefer Jdownloader because it's more convenient. Lets you know if it's something you already watched.

Hey. I'd like to express that I have been having a problem already stated here days ago. Many of the videos that I try to download from youtube say: "temporarily unavailable", then JD tries again in 30 minutes (A timer that can probably be set somewhere in the settings)
It seems that after JD automatically retries after 30 minutes or 60 minutes the download usually works, but this also means the downloads take much longer than expected On the other hand, this process can be speed up by just resetting the download manually, but it would be really nice and save us time if this bug was fixed :> Lastly, I'd like to mention that I have been unable to download this specific video for the last 18 hours approximately. Resetting this link multiple times didn't work and adding it again doesn't work either: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** |
