Jdownloader does not save download list.
When exiting Jdownloader2 and opening it again, the new entries are gone.
The last downloadList zip-file is dated 19.08.2019. In fact, there are 7 zip-files from that date, all have the same file size. When I reopen Jdownloader2, the last links are from 19.08.2019. The new downloads have disappeared. I have run updates, and tried to close and reopen Jdownloader2 many times, with the same result. Does anyone else have that same problem? |

Do you have .backup files in your cfg folder?
Please provide a screenshot of the about dialog of your JDownloader. This is a sign that JDownloader is unable to load/save the current list. Either Java is running low/out of memory or permission/firewall/av is causing issues.

The latest backup file in the cfg folder is from 21.05.2019.
Don't think it could be something with the firewall, because I haven't done any changes in the firewall in a long time, and haven't run any windows updates the latest months either. You will find attached my screenshot of the about dialog. |

About dialog shows that your Java is near max allowed memory and I guess that's the reason.
In your JDownloader folder you should find a .vmoptions file. Open it with texteditor and remove any -Xmx and -Xms lines and add -Xmx2g or -Xmx4g to allow max 2 or 4gb of heap memory

Unfortunately, that didn't help.
I added -Xmx4g to both the JDownloader2.vmoptions and to the JDownloader2Update.vmoptions. The text in the files is now like this: -Xms64m -Dsun.java2d.d3d=false I've restarted JD2 several times, trying to add a few files, but that didn't help. I also deleted some old links, but when restarted the old files are still there. You will find attached a new screenshot of the about dialog. Last edited by Bluesbr; 12.09.2019 at 22:43. |

Please do the following. Close JDownloader and delete/empty the logs folder.
Now start JDownloader, add some links and then close JDownloader again. then start it again, create a log https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs and post shown logID here in log dialog, select all sessions please

Your filesystem is damaged
Windows is throwing errors while trying to access files C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\JDownloader v2.0\cfg\downloadList382461.zip: The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable. I would recommend to scandisk your drive and do a full check as well

There were 2 corrupted downloadList files, and they were impossible to delete.
So I ran "chkdsk /f", and then the files could be deleted. I suspect this may have happened when there was a power failure because of thunderstorms. Now JDownloader2 saves the filelist. Seems like it is working well no. Thanks a lot for all your help! |
