live.me: No file extension when download files have same name
Please see attachment but basically, until recent releases, a series of downloads where the files have the same name (e.g. MP4.mp4) and extension, would result in files being renamed (option - if file exists auto-rename), but the file extension retained (so in the example, these would become MP4.mp4, MP4_1.mp4, MP4_2.mp4 etc.)
Last updates to JD2 seems to have changed this behaviour ao that file extension is no longer retained and has to be re-appended manually post-download (so in example shown, it can be seen that the files are now called MP4, MP4_1, MP4_2 etc. Could you please restore the previous functionality ? The files do still play when renamed to .MP4, but it is a royal pita to have to do so. TY |

There have been no changes. I cannot reproduce the issue. Works find here.
Please provide example links and a logfile, see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs and post shown logID here

My apologies for delay. Example links are shown below. Screenshot also attached.
These download with no file extension, even though they are clearly .mp4 files (if you rename them they play fine). Also, these particular unnamed files seem to have no valid source location (Download from) whereas properly constructed files from the same source show the full download location. Finally, they tend to fail to download completely far more often than any other files, so what you would find is 3/4 download, one errors - resetting does not fix it. Any assistance greatly welcomed. Hi Jiaz
Sent you 4 more links + another screenshot (also included here). Let me know if you are now able to replicate the issue. |

Will be fixed with next update. Liveme server response has changed and that broke filename parsing.
