Default Help With Schedular

Hi

First of all I would like to thank you for the greatest program ever, i cant live without it.

My question is I don't know how to use the schedular. What I would like to do is every now and then setup my downloads to start at 12am and stop at 7am,(my off peak period). Would someone kindly be able to show or tell me how?. As I always do this manually and if it goes past 7am I go to my peak period and I might get slowed down. So I would love it if I cant get my downloads to stop at 7am whether theyre finished or not.

Can anyone help?

You need to define two actions :-

1) at 12 am : Start Downloads

2) at 7 am : Stop Downloads (you can also use "Set Stopmark" at 6:45 am or earlier in order to let your downloads finish)

Thank you so much for your reply. I had a bit of a play with this but can't get it to work I am a novice. Would you be able to go into a bit more detail how to do this? Also where do you put your downloads linkgrabber or downloads folder and also how does the time work, does it run by the time of my computers clock? Do I need any other of the settings or just start and stop?. I would be really grateful if you could give some help or a walkthrough on this.

Thanks so much

I'm afraid there is no tutorial for the Schedule add-on and I don't use any add-ons.

You need to put your links in the Download pane.

I guess the time used is that of your computer clock.

I would suggest to try it out while you're in front of your computer.

Your links will never download as long as they stay in what you call the "continue with all" pane (it is commonly called the Linkgrabber pane). They need to be in the Download pane.

If you don't want them to be downloaded before your "start" schedule starts, you need to click the "Stop all running downloads" button in the tool bar (Alt-O keys).

Or disable the "Start after adding" in linkgrabber pane.
