every hoster where you can download different file as premium that is not accessable as free user. how should jd fetch high quality details when there is no way to do that.

Default unable to download from Megaupload

I am using version 0.9.581 and I tried to download from megaupload.

But I keep getting "Limit Reached (2)!" message.

I didn't change any settings but I am also downloading from megaupload using firefox at the same time.

Can I know how do i fix this problem?

I tried looking through the FAQ, but the screenshots are of older versions and the some commands cannot be find anyway in the latest version.

Thank you.

@hellooo

Are you using a proxy server in your browser?

If you're a free loader, then MU has its limits.

I close my firebox and the download starts, but it stop again with the same message after 2 downloads.

I connect my laptop directly to my modem, no router, all settings are auto-detect

I'm a free dowloader and I am downloading 1 file at a time.

I thought the app will activate 1 dl at a time for megaupload, so it will be able to continue one after another.

any settings i can set to make it do that?

It depends on how big these files are and how much you're allowed to download as a free loader. I've seen this message myself numerous times.

jD starts downloading again when the wait period for the limit is over.

Default Megaupload invalid account

Hello,

First of all apologize for my bad English, I'm from Spain. I'm having problems configuring my Megaupload premium account, which still is active.
It says "invalid account" and it doesn't let me use it at all. I tried reinstalling the program and configuring everything and still I can't use it.

Thanks for your attention and help

Carlos

Default Megaupload Limit Reached (2)

I get limit Reached(2) however, when I go and do it manually(i.e. in Firefox 4), it downloads properly.

Cool

@FSCMby666

Did you already remove your account, restart jD, and add the account again?

If your password contains special characters, please change it.

If this wouldn't work, please provide a complete and detailed log.

Default Premium Account Won't Download Files Over 1 GB

I have a Premium account with Megaupload but jDownloader won't let me download files over 1 GB.
The status is as follows:
File is over 1GB and needs Premium Account

Therefore, I don't understand why it won't let me download files over 1GB unless jDownloader does not allow this.

I have a premium account with megaupload. It keeps on reverting to "Account is ok" after my current downloads finish. Here's what happens to me.

1. I add links to jdownloader. I download 3 at a time.
2. The first 3 links download really fast.
3. When the next links are processed, the download speed slows down significantly.
4. I check the premium tab and it says my "Account is ok".
5. I refresh the account and it says Premium Membership.
6. Continue downloading and it's at full speed.
7. When the next links are processed, my account reverts to "Account is ok" and I have to refresh my account to get full speeds.

I have jdownloader v 0.9.581. I've removed/added my account a couple of times. I've restarted jdownloader a couple of times. I've restarted my pc a couple of times as well. Am I the only one experiencing these issues? Would a reinstall fix it? Thanks.

Default Problem with Megaupload

I recently updated from the latest JD version.
Right now I'm having problem downloading on Megaupload. It's either host offline? or connection lost.
It connects sometimes, downloading 1kb then stops and connection lost.
I try downloading on using the browser and it's ok.

here's the log when the error occurred.

If you can download with your browser, then something is blocking jD. Allow java and javaw in your firewall and virus software. Disable (or un-install) the html/web download scanner in your virus software.

"account is ok" is okay. nothing wrong with it
its just a text that can be changed during plugin handling/downloading
rightclick refresh will set a text that can be changed later.

when there is a key icon in downloadrow, then the account is still in use and all fine.

I can't seem to resume megaupload downloads that 'lose connection', as I get a 'server does not support chunkload' error.

I use a Megaupload Premium account and run in OSX

Unhappy MAJOR Problems

Hey there guys. JDownloader is awesome!

Anyway, to my problem.

MegaUpload is being a pain the artichoke for me. Nothing will download off of JDownloader nor will any MegaUpload link open on my IP Address on my Laptop (where I do all of my downloading) or even my Mac (where I don't download from!)

It is like my IP Address is being blocked by MegaUpload or something. I have a premium account with them and I have downloaded a massive load from them recently (approximately 25GB-30GB in the last couple days so the only reason I could think why things aren't downloading is because I have downloaded too much (which doesn't make sense as I have a Premium Account and there shouldn't be some sort of limit surely?!).

Anyway, the log is posted below. It just stays on 'Connecting' status and looks like it want to load but can't due to it not being able to access MegaUpload and then changes to "Host Offline for 10:00"?". Is anyone else either having this problem or just simply just not able to open MegaUpload?!?!

I can see that it says "MegaUpload blocked this IP: 25 mins" but...... it's been wayyy longer than 25 mins and why would it block my IP Address considering I have a premium account! Could someone tell me the download limit if there is one?

Thanks so much for you help in advance guys =)

No I can't open anything MegaUpload related on my PC. But I have no idea why? =(

I moved onto my friends router and it works absolutely fine. I have no idea why MegaUpload has blocked my IP! Any ideas?

Thanks Remi.

I've just sent them an email saying:
Hi There,

I regularly buy premium accounts as I have always loved Megaupload however, recently I have found out that my IP has been blocked by your site and I have not been able to download anything. I cannot access anything Megaupload related on my router. As I have paid for a premium account I would think that I would be able to download without problems but I have not been able to. I have received a notice on a third-party program that Megaupload has blocked my IP for 25 mins, I have waited 5 hours and still I cannot download and I currently have to use my friends router to continue my downloads. My Username is: GeckoPutt.

Please could you fix this problem as I feel that it almost seems a waste of money for me to buy a premium account if I can’t download anything.

Thanks for your cooperation

Hopefully I will get a reply today (and perhaps free extra premium account time teehee )

Thanks a lot for your help Remi - you've been very helpful

Having exactly the same issue as you guys hence me finding my way here, it's almost certainly a ISP/DNS issue as opposed to a jDownloader or Megaupload issue in my case at least - I can access the site by using its IP (69.5.88.207) in place of the URL, does this work for you guys? What ISP are you with?

As far as I can tell your options for now if your problem is the same as mine are basically either use proxies, try openDNS (oops no urls, google it I guess), try downloading by manipulating relevant URLs (so instead of downloading from megaupload.com/?exampleurl you would try 69.5.88.207/?exampleurl, although this doesn't work with jDownloader afaik, you'd have to go direct to the website) or just wait it out - it should fix itself in time.

I was a little worried MU might have found its way onto the IWF blacklist, but there would be way more people complaining if that were the case.

I have the EXACT same problem. MU loads up if I type in the IP address. Do you think our problem has something to do with over excessive downloading?

I doubt it - I haven't up/downloaded any more than usual over the past week or so, and if MU was going to block a user they'd block the IP route in too. Plus generally speaking I doubt they'd block on an individual basis - it would make more sense for them to just throttle all free users some more or introduce some sort of limit on all premium users as opposed to blocking people individually.
