Default [NOT a JD issue]Opening Video Strange Behavior

I'm getting some really strange behavior when opening video files directly from JD. I double click to open a .MKV file and the VLC player always opens like the pic below. If I open a avi or mp4 MPC-HC opens the file in a HUGE window larger than my screen size instead of it's regular normal size.

All the files open normaly from their folders. It's just JD is messing something up. Any clues as to why JD is opening these files weird?

Windows 10 updated, 32gig ram, Nvidia 3060 Ti. JD latest build

@Lasher_M:
JDownloader just tells the OS to open that file with its associated application.
Maybe VLC stores this type of information depending on "who/where" it was opened from?
Have you checked if it's the same vlc installation?

What I can tell from screenshots is that mkv seems to be associated with VLC and mp4 is a different player!
Maybe assign mkv also to this other player

Default Now it's Solved

I see you marked it as solved but didn't really solve anything. Hoiwever I did find the reason.

On higher resolution and or large monitors many users will use or change High DPI settings of different programs in order to better read the programs text and menus. Using different High DPI settings for JD2 can cause issues like videos not opening correctly.

If you run into similar problems like I had just mess around with these High DPI settings and it'll fix these issues.

@Lasher M: Thanks for the feedback! I marked it as solved as the issue is not connected to JDownloader.
