You can find the ID of that video but going through your browsers' traffic in developer console and looking for URLs with "youtube-nocookie.com".
You can then create normal youtube URLs which JD can handle just fine.

All I can see in the Network tab is that there are chunks of .m4s files being downloaded from

I cannot see any youtube related urls.

It would also be helpful to be able to download the presentation slides...

Indeed it doesn#t work that way.
Instead of searching in the network tab, search everywhere by pressing CTRL + F inside the network tab -> Enter "youtube-nocookie.com/embed" -> You will find it then.

A lot of things would be helpful but unfortunately time and manpower are limited.
We're open source so you're free to contribute custom plugins.
The slides seem to be provided via an XML file containing further metadata e.g.:
cdn.slideslive.com/data/presentations/123456/123456.xml?123456
--> You can find that via developer console too.

Addition for other types of videos of "slideslive.com" (I was asked via PN):

You can find the direct-URLs similar to the other way described in my last post.
Simply search for "master.m3u8" or use this more comfortable way.

Please keep in mind that when downloading those URLs via JD you may end up with videos without sound (explanation and workaround instructions are given in the article linked in the last sentence of this post!).
