How to download subtitles with a different language?

Banned by what? I can still watch youtube videos normally. Though no links can be added through linkgrabber, they are all offline. And links I already had say host problem.

Read JD's log, you might get "HTTP_1.1 429 Too Many Requests" that means you are banned by Youtube unless you use browser.

I have weird problem where if link a certain playlist that contains 101 videos only 68 shows up in the LinkGrabber, if I try to past the link again, it doesn't add any.

Yes I checked if the other videos were online and they were.

Also tried to manually add the 69th video of the playlist and I got an error:

Error - <<YouTube Video ID>> Caller_org.jdownloader.plugins.components.youtube.YoutubeHelper.refreshVideo(youtubehelper.java)---
I couldn't read the rest because the string didn't fit in the window

Any idea on how to fix this?:blink:

I don't download youtube videos very often but lately a few have been downloading as two files; a dashAudio and a dashVideo file and JD2 cannot combine them into a single working video file with audio. It suggests restarting ("Try restarting this link (plugin outdated")") but that doesn't fix things. Note, I am using the latest (at the time of this posting at least) JD2 update.

I think, but at this point I am no longer sure, some of these files do get combined to a single working video-with-its-audio. But I've encountered this problem so far 2 times so I figured I might as well as finally about it here.

So what's the story with dashVideo/dashAudio? Is this google's attempt to make it inconvenient or impossible for folks who attempt to download youtube videos? Or is JD2 supposed to be supporting these things and the videos where I saw the problem has shown up a bug?

How do you get to the log? I created one, then went to the install path then log folder, and theres is LCK files that have a ton of info that i don't think relates to this.

Right click the .srt link - youtube.com - Add additional Variants - choose the srt.

Its nothing todo with stopping people, its that they share the same audio file with many different video 'p' size. So it saves them storage space and utilises there infrastructure more efficiently.

make sure you have ffmpeg within jd install path, or if you have specified path of your own that it still in working order. Keep in mind that if you're using windows xp you need to source ffmpeg yourself if my memory is correct.

I found this problem in other places but the tenor was. "You can't help it, wait and maybe it will disappear at some stage by itself..."

Is that all I can do?
