Been using Jdownloader for mac for awhile. Tried to download today and downloads don't even start. I add the links to the linkgrabber then try to start them. They are moved to the download list as usual, but they don't actually download. There's no error, no waiting for captcha or anything. I tried searching for updates and that does nothing either. Doesn't even tell me there are no updates needed. Tried resetting computer and modem, but no fix. Thanks for the help.

It's an old PowerPC Mac not intel based. They haven't provided a Java update for years and 1.5 is the highest I can go. Does this mean I can no longer use JD?

open jdownloader.app/dmg with
rightclick on it->show content
then navigate till you've found jdupdate.jar
start it

I completely reinstalled the Java 1.5 version and that works ok until I try to update or it automatically updates. Then I have problems all over again. I can't seem to recreate the downloads not starting at this point but I have problems with active links not being found now. Bitshare, Rapidgator are a couple I've noticed. Thanks

I'm having the same problem and have been for the last 3 days. Just keeps showing "not checked" and "checking online availablity" and "linkgrabber operations are pending". Even when they have cleared still nothing happens.

I installed Java 1.5
Only Mediafire did not work for me (Working on this)
All others worked fine.
Can you please provide links that do not work/seem to stall?

Hey. It's been a couple days so I don't know what the exact links were. I downloaded another update today and still having problems though. Bitshare and Rapidgator appear not to work for me after a quick trial. Additionally, once JD encounters one of these links it appears to fail on urls it is able to check.

Say I add a depositfiles url to the linkgrabber list. JD will check the link. If I first add a rapidgator url to the list then try to add a depositfiles url it won't even check the depositfiles url and I have to quit JD and reopen.
