Default I need a lil help, link grabber messes up the folder structure

so as the title says, I have about 300 GB to dl from mega

now within mega itself, the courses are organized very well, each sorted by authors name, course name, followed by folders in the course. let me show you an example (I redacted any info that might be inappropriate, excuse the large jpg).

Look on the left, let's say I wanted to download Jason Capital's courses

Notice how each courses is in it's own folder, organized perfectly. Now, look to the right on how jdownloder imports that jason capital folder. just all over the place. :D

So I did many a read on google, trying to find the answer to this, and hopefully somebody could tell me. Is it possible, that I could linkgrab and jdownloader keep the same folder structure?

I tried megaB when I import it keeps that same folder structure, as you can see here:

edit: I figured out how to get the proxies to work in megaBasterd, wouldn't mind if I could have jdownloader as a backup though.

Hi,

JD should also set the folder structure correctly.
1. Make sure that you do NOT check the option "Information overwrites packagizer rules" in the "Add links" dialog in JD.

2. Make sure that all default Pakagizer rules are activated and that your eventually existing custom rules do not interfere with our default ones - see Settings --> Packagizer

3. If you continue having this issue, please post some example URLs.

yeah that works, here's another, maybe simpler example (mega on the left, j on the right)

looking at the save to, everything is in the right folder, right folder is in the right place, in the end, it's going to end up looking the same, when it's finished d/ling.

what woulnd't be too bad though, is if j down did have, folder within folder in the linkgrabber like this (a lil photshop)

but it still gets the job done, thanks.

Hi,
we know about this design flaw but unfortunately, sub-packages in linkgrabber- and downloadlist are not planned.
You will have to stick with what is there ... it looks ugly and creates a lot of packages but it will get the job done!

Thanks for your feedback!
