Default JD2 reinstall from backups

I too am recovering from hard drive crash. I read, I think, all the releavant threads here already. I have recent back-up of entire user directory; and have located the JD2 install in AppData\Local; and the downloadlist#.zip files. My problem is I created my new install with a different user name than I had on old hard drive. My questions?

If I port over the entire JD2 folder structure, will a new install autocorrect the bad user path names?

If that won't work what other files do I need to grab to recreate password lists, host configs, etc.; and which ones need to be corrected with right user path?

I looked at the downloadlist files. There is a file called extraInfo that contains user path. I made correction there, saved, and rezipped with 7zip. Files are all there in the zip but the zip file size changed, probably because 7zip used a different archive method to create the zip. Does JD2 care? or does it have to be in a specific archive format?

thanks
daffdaemon

Just copy/replace the cfg folder. It contains all (settings, links, accounts).
JDownloader does NOT auto-fix download paths. You have to fix them manually via rightclick context menu.
Fileformat is normal zip file

I suggest to keep backup of cfg folder and then manually update folders via rightclick context menu

In case you need further help, don't hesitate and ask again

Thanks, worked just fine.
None of my download paths are in %user%, all external, so didn't have to reset anything.
And apparently JD2 is just fine with screwed up %user% in any old cfg files. Loaded everything anyway. Great.
