Default Constant Updates!

I don't mean to be rude, but now it has come to a boiling point where I can't take it anymore. I don't understand where your priorities lie when you have websites like FileJoker have changed their captcha-system and you have set the ETA to end of january and it has gone almost two months but no update on that! Still, updates keeps coming every other day and it's getting on my nerves. Please, help me understand.

They didn't say Hcaptcha would be done my end of January... one dev said "maybe" but considering the ticket for Hcaptcha support has been open and UNASSIGNED (meaning no one is officially working on it) for a YEAR I don't think supporting it is much of a priority. One would think that adding hCaptcha support would be the #1 priority considering it's a major block to multiple other tickets AND more and more filehosts are switching to it now that Google is charging hosts to use recaptcha, but apparently it isn't. I don't think JD has anyone dedicated full time to it any more, so it's more a "when someone can get around to it" thing.

Can't tell you what the updates are, other than one a couple weeks ago reset all my popup captcha window sizes back to system default. Be nice to have a list of all changes to see if running the update is worth the risk. Some "fixes" aren't. They used to have a publicly viewable changelog, but that has gone away.

No we did not.
As the user dabrown write, january was not any kind of ETA.
As stated multiple times we never promise any ETAs.

There is a lot of other stuff to do and a lot of other plugins to fix (= constant workload).
Also we're only a small team.
We're open source so you're free to contribute code:

The status is wrong.
Work on it has been done but it's not release-ready yet.

It is a high priority to add hcaptcha.

I'm sorry we don't have a changelog anymore and at this time there are no plans to re-add one.
However, you can watch code changes in our repository and read our commit messages.

EDIT

By the way this thread will remain open for new answers and we will keep answering.
The "Solved" tag I've applied means that your question has been answered.
If you have more questions specifically about hcaptcha, please post them HERE.
EDIT2

Also just in case the blinking update symbol is annoying to you you can disable this too:

Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Search for "update button flashing"
