Default Jdownloader 2 takes too much ram

Just now it uses about 13 gb ram, out of 32 that i have.
I wonder why?
it does have few thousands of links there i guess, no more than 10k, and most are disabled, the only active ones is maybe 1k links.

Please check your About Dialog of JDownloader. It shows the real *max* memory that java may use. 13GB sounds too much that its the memory used by JDownloader/java. By default Java uses about max 20-30% of max memory and can be manually limited/increased.
Menu->Help -> About JDownloader. There you'll find a line for memory and the last number is import. Just post a screenshot of the about dialog here.

JDownloader/Java can max use 7GB of memory. And at the moment you took the screenshot, memory usage was at 280MB.

Higher memory usage is very likely a sign of memleak in Firewall/AV or any other application.
Can you please share screenshot of those *high* memory usage? How do you test that memory usage?

Real usage of Java is about 3GB. Maybe those other are just file buffers from your extracted file?! Can't tell because I can't see/read the column name
