After the update, you should be able to add google Accounts to JD again.

I haven't tested any of our YT stuff while logged-IN.

Please keep in mind that premium content will usually be DRM protected (similar to Netflix/Spotify) which means downloading such content might not be possible as circumventing DRM measures is prohibited by law (in Germany).

Did downloading YT premium content with JD ever work before?

You are right - doesn't work here either.
My test-URL worked fine.
Maybe they got different types of age-restriction ...

I wasn't able to make itv work with the new fixed Googlee login either.

You will have to use other (Helper) tools like the popular browser addon "Video DownloadHelper" to download such content.

Too many requests error started poping up for last 2 or 3 days for me too. I can post few links if you guys really need but it's showing this error on every link I add.

Edit:- Just to be clear, it's working fine in browser but JDownloader shows that error. Pretty sure that won't be IP blocking or I wouldn't be able to watch youtube in browser unless it has something to do with months old login problem since in the browser, we can stay logged in.

Indeed I was able to reproduce your issue and I've created a ticket:

Please either wait until the issue gets fixed or add the items of that playlist manually.

Alternatively, if small playlists always work here is a possible workaround:
Create multiple playlists on your own and add all items of that big playlists to them.
Then add your playlists to JD (make sure they're public in that moment)!

Anyone else had this issue recently? My googlefu found a couple related threads awhile back, but all were solved as "apply newest update" which mine has. Basically, I can gran a video IN a playlist, but when I try to grab the entire playlist I come up empty pockets. I've tried this on 4 separate, completely unrelated playlists and no dice.

Is there a way to set the prefer resolution etc when grabbing youtube links?

e.g. I want to set 1080p 60fps mkv as the prefer link by default showing in linkgrabber ..
but by default linkgrabber is showing the highest resolution e.g. 2160p 60fps
so I need to go through each link and change the variant.

I've been able to post a youtube's video page into Jdownloader2 before, and then click process playlist and it would grab the entire channel.

I just tried today and it's not working. Grabbing playlists works still, just not whole channels.

Once I click process playlist, the linkgrabber just dissapears after a second or two, and nothing is added. I tried a couple different channels just in case, same thing.

I guess something small has changed in youtube that broke this or something? I'd appreciate it if you took a look, thanks!

I have tried to use JDownloader to download the video but without success. When I cut and paste the YouTube link above, only the image and text file are added to the list for downloading. It completely skips the video file and I don't know why.

Am I doing something wrong or is this video not available to download using JDownloader? I have the most recently updated version of JDownloader 2 and my computer runs on Windows 10 and Java SE Runtime Environment 1.8.0_162 (32 bit). I use McAfee for anti-virus and firewall protection.

Please let me know if I need to submit any further info to this forum in order to solve this question. Thank you for your assistance.

I think it is Youtube changed system I get similar issue. In Linkgrabber go to link and under variant click the down arrow. In the drop down click add variant from the list. The video should be added.

For the Jdown Techs, When I add YT link, link grabber picks up only audio files. I have to go into variant to add videos. here is my log:05.07.20 08.59.01 <--> 06.07.20 19.21.45 jdlog://1270125302851/

This is for sure not the default behavior.
You might have changed your YT settings which could lead to this behavior.
Please try resetting them:
Settings --> Plugins --> YT --> Click on the yellow button on the bottom right corner to the right of the hoster-name --> Add new YT links and test afterwards

Reset worked. I then custom set everything back to the way I like it - download mp4 only - and it works fine again. Thanks.:)

Hello,
I closed JDownloader and shut down my computer for 2 days. After this, I restarted everything and now JDownloader is able to download the full video without any problems. I don't know what happened, but thank you for your willingness to assist me. Everything is working great at this time.

JDownloader doesn't detect any videos when given the link of some channels, for example this URL:

Maybe this is because it has a custom channel URL, i.e. doesn't have the cryptic channel ID in the URL.

Your issue is related to the above mentioned YT playlist crawler issues (yes I know your URL goes to a channel, not a playlist but internally that's the same).

Please either use the provided workaround ideas or wait for the next CORE-update.

basically youtube capped a playlist to 100 videos, also other programs woudlnt work over that threshold

and thats frustrating, i have to pick up manually lets play videos, anyone else have this issue?

i usually watch roguelikes like enter the gungeon and download random videos of a youtube playlist

Not that I know - our crawler simply failed to parse playlists with over 100 items.

ill try that one thanks; youtube is getting worse by the years just an opinion but the contents are unmatched

edit i found a third party program that works, im using that one temporary while waiting for a fix

second edit the plugin update kicked in , that was super fast, it now captures above 100 videos

How do i log in to youtube. when i try to log in it gives some exporting cookies thing.

The instructions in that is not clear,

i have google chrome,

i did install the edit cookie add on.

i copied the youtube cookie to clipboard.

i pasted it as my JD account manager my youtube password. i used my e-mail as my youtube username, it is what i use as my youtube username.

it still gives the exporting cookies thing.

Please tell me how exactly to log on to youtube.

As stated in the Google Login dialog, you're supposed to go on Google.com (NOT youtube.com).

Since the latest update youtube just completely stopped working for me. Single videos and playlists can't be grabbed anymore. The error message i get is the same for every source: "Error - [video id] Too Many Requests". Hope that helps.

i can download age restricted videos now, before this it gives a sign in to download and cannot sign in now i can sign in and download, that's enough for me.

i can access my playlists on youtube if i make my private playlist temporarily as unlisted. i don't have a problem capturing links or downloading videos.
