Default How do I stop the "External Request from Mozilla" pop-ups?

I just started using JD2, been using JD1 for years. Some things are great, but usability has a ways to go (I say this with 20+ years professional experience is software development, product management, and marketing). Thanks to all for the hard work, I look forward to even better things to come.

Anyway, in JD2, if I select a bunch or URLs in a Chrome window, or use the chrome extension to load a bunch of URLs (let's say 200), i get 200 individual pop up messages that say "An external application tries to add links" then asks me to allow or deny access. (BTW, better English would be "An external application is trying to add links")

This is a real PITA -- how do I override this pop-up?

Default Need more specifics...

OK, I assume you're actually talking about:

settings>advanced>RemoteAPI: Extern Interface Auth

I see that the default value is "null", and I've searched to see if there's any documentation, but what do I change it to?

Thanks!

yes one and the same thing. It's String[] value: for instance

[ "site1.com", "site2.com", "site3.com" ]

as this API is used for click and load and flashgot integration, any 3rd party app could use this API also, warnings are given to prevent unauthorised access. For instance a virus/worm/malware self-downloading through automatically adding links to be downloaded via this API. JD2 should ask you if you want to add the site to the allowed list.

Default Thanks.

Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for. And, I agree, the first time it should ask if you want to save that entry.

This doesn't work. I tried, for example, to add "rapidgator.com" to the string, but I get an error message that says: '"rapidgator.com"' is not a valid 'java.util.ArrayList<java.lang.String>'

Should be: ["rapidgator.com"] instead of "rapidgator.com"

Thanks for the help with the correct format. It still doesn't work, though. Can someone tell me if it's user error or if it's broken, please.

I'm using the Jdownloader for Chrome extension from the chrome store: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...bjbhccjcoakpmm

I browse to a web page with a link to a download, and I right-click on the link and select "download with jdownloader". Then I get the pop-up. Putting both the the url of the source forum, and the url of the file host into the string for RemoteAPI: Extern Interface Auth, does not make any difference.

Same problem here too, this is very annoying. Is there any Chrome download plugin without that?
