It appears that either my quota for the day ran out or global quota reached for the day. I had the download in my queue and tried to download again today and it worked along with the account missing message. I noticed I run into these errors whenever I queue up alot of files to download.

Public shared files have a public share quota, not connected to your own quota

Public files have a certain quota, just if you access them without being logged in an account.

The links are always available if accessed while logged in an account. However, they dissable the option to add chunks to the files.

Hello: In the following example the Jdownloader 2 does not download all the links, and puts a legend that says "Omitted - Account is required to download". The links work perfectly directly, but not through Jdownloader 2. This happened several days ago and it is not the first time that it happens to me.

It is strange. The quota exceeded message appears to me, even if I am logged in an account. Although in this links, it does not appear who the owner is nor how the link is shared...

Yes, this can happen.

There are at least two different types of this errormessage.
In your case, the only way to download that file is to import it into your own GDrive Account and download it from there.

Maybe it is because the files are uploaded in a paid account, instead of a free one.

I have myself tested that in the past. I accesed to a blocked link (hosted in a free account) while being logged in a google account, and through a private session at the same time (which are anonymous by default). I was able to perfectly dowload the file through the logged one, while the one in the private tab appeared blocked all the time.

Yes and that's what this thread is all about:
JD is unable to login into google at this moment which means users are unable to download such files at all using JD

And without wanting to get angry about the following question: when do you think there will be good news? I would like to download from Gdrive again. Sometimes I have a fantasy that Jdownloader is programmed by an active developer community. And other times I feel the sad reality that you are the only developer. Also thanks for your patience with very impatient users (like me).

At this moment, there are 2-3 active JD developers.

We are open source but there aren't many users who contribute code so far ...

I know that. But I was saying that, due to the strange situation I found several messages ago ( A link that I was unable to open, even being logged in).

But well, I think that until you manage to fix the problem, the easiest way to add downloads to JDOWNLOADER would be using the addon DOWNLOAD WITH JDOWNLOADER.

What addon are you talking about? Is it the extension for Google Chrome called MyJdownloader?

Nope, this one

https: //add0n.com/download-with.html?from=jdownloader?version=0.1.8&type=install

Just follow the steps that appear in there and do not forget to activate the cookies option in its settings.

You also have to remember than downloads have to be added manually and in case of several links, have to be put to download at the same time. Otherwise the links will expire in a couple of minutes. Throught this method, downloads can be neither resumed nor have more than 1 chunck per file.

You are welcome. I forgot to mention that you have to be logged in a google account, in order to be able to access to the links.

Sorry for ignoring this question in my last post ...

The good new is here but again: I usually don't provide any ETA - as you can see this worked out horribly in this case :(
Sorry for the delay

Anyways - here is the current status / the good news:
I got it working fine here though not how I originally planned it but it is a mess/workaround anyways so there are really no reasons against releasing it.

To avoid you guys bombarding us with tickets/requests, I will try to add clear instructions on how to use that new kind of login.

Once this is done and the last tests are done, you are free to test the new changes.

I will keep you updated in this thread.

Google login workaround / bugfix-attempt will go live with the next CORE-Update!

You know that you got the update if you get the following info dialog when trying to add your Google account:

This will also automatically open up that URL which will lead you to instructions on how the cookie login process works!
