Exclamation Ifile.it Has Changed. Now Requires Account
iFile.it has changed its system altogether. Now it requires that everyone should have an account and be logged in first in order to be able to download anything.

I have entered my account name and password in the JDownloader > Settings > Modules > Passwords & Logins > HTAccess, but it doesn't work.

BTW, is this format correct?

ifile.it %%%% username %%%% password

Also in the premium section I couldn't find any settings for iFile.it (Although it doesn't seem to offer any premium accounts anyway).

Default cannot download form ifile.it
I grabed a link of ifile.it, which is certainly on-line. However, the JD said that the link is dead.

I cant´t find any button or anything else on there homepage to download my uploaded file.

The only chance to get the downloadlink: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** of this file is to register a free acount.

ifile is a hoster, you can't just put the login data to the htaccess-passwordsx)

Also accounts for Hosters work only if we make support for these so you suggest support for ifile accounts ?
...where are the example links ?

Default ifile doesn't work (jd 0.7.504)
Hello,
I just tried the new JDownloader 0.7.504 and found that the ifile plugin doesn't work. (the other plugins works correctly)

I get a "file not found" error, but manually downloading with IE works!

The ifile link is:

ifile changed their system.
Now you can only download with an account.
We already know about that, just wait till we update the plugin.

well it's strange, because I'm downloading manually using IE7, and _without_ having registered for an account.

Please note that after some initial downloads the ifile server changes behaviour and starts showing captchas (on the few first downloads it doesn't)

iFile.it no longer asks for the account. Maybe they have gone back to the old system. Or maybe they ask for an account after a large number of downloads. But the JD plugin doesn't work anyway. Some example links:

The ifile Plugin actually does not work now because you can only download with an account and we didn't implement this till now.
Just wait, updates will be posted here!

iFile.it doesn't ask for an account any longer. Now anyone can download without an account. That account thing seemed to be a temporary one-day mistake/strategy that was withdrawn very quickly. Just try one of the example links posted in this thread.

iFile.it asks for a captcha after three download requests.

My guess is that iFile.it asks for an account after a large number of download requests from the same ip, or else ifile.it asks for an account when it faces a huge network load and uses an account login requirement as a restriction on network traffic flow.

A temporary plugin update could be implemented by which the plugin, for now, only deals with requests that do not need an account. And when an account is required a proper error message is shown. This ad-hoc solution can continue until support for account management is added to jDownloader.

In other words, would you please update the plugin now without (for the time being) adding support for accounts?

Just wait, if someone wants to fix it it will be fixed.
Also i think we'll tell jdownloader to give you a "fatal" error if ifile says "download only with account" for the future.
Use other hosts till we update this one!

I dont want to bother you but i found this in the main page of ifile.it

It's not because they are great programmers they have 240 hours in a day. They have other duties than programming.

If you know some other great Java programmers, please tell them to join and help updating the Ifile.it and other plug-ins for jD.

You don't know anything!
The API is there to check the online availibility and we can do this without api also.
The problem is that we have more important things to do, also i'am no professional in Programming and when the hosters (like ifile) are using too much java script i dunno what to do so in this case I <-!! can't help!
