Default HELP! Synthetica License Warning!???

Hi

Today I just did a JD2 update like always, after the update and JD2 reloaded, it came up with this "Synthetica License Warning"

"Please post your licensing registration number to the support center and request a vaild key"

What is this??? Never had this error before. What do I do to fix it? What key do I need? How do I get it?

Help!

Thanks.

Hi

Jiaz....What is this "Synthetica License Warning"? My installation seems fine. JD2 still loads, and is usable, I just get this annoying error each time now after loading JD2. I just click "ok" to close it.

I was reading the forums, some have said this may be related to an incompatible "skin" I may be using?

I havent tried to update yet since the last time....but if I do the things your link suggested "fixing broken installation" will this remove the warning error without me losing anything, including "linkgrabber" links?

This error message only started coming up after the last update I did yesterday.

Could this just be as simple as using a different "skin" for JD2?

Thanks

Yes that will fix your issue.

And also as stated in that article you should always create a backup in beforehand.

Hi guys,

So I did everything exacly like you said to do....deleted "tmp", and "update" folders. "Core.jar" too.....JD2 restarted fine; did its updates, but the "Synthetic Licensing"error message is still coming up.

HELP! What next?

I am using "JD_PLAIN" skin....is the skin im using suddenly incompatible? I heard the "skin" may be causing this error.

Also....if I just click the error warning away and just ignore it, JD2 still functions fine. Is this something I can just ignore?

Thanks

@MrGonzo: please try again the following way. Close JDownloader, delete the folders
tmp , update and libs, and the file Core.jar and start JDownloader again.
In case you still encounter this issue, can you please provide a log, see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs
and post the shown logID here.
we can also take a look at this together via Teamviewer, just contact us via support@jdownloader.org

This issue can happen when you have incompatible libs or theme initialization fails
