Question Backup in JD2 ¿?

Hello!

The situation is this: I installed the Beta JD2 and I liked a lot, but in contrast to the previous version, this can't find a way to make a backup (Ctrl + B).
Pressing Ctrl + B will generate files with a name similar to this "database.zip" in the backup folder (C:\Program Files\JDownloader\backup).
This option helps me a lot, but I can not activate it in the JD2.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Why at jd1 stable or nightly you can make backup?

There is a ticket for that already. once on jd2 you can backup your download list by copying downloadList.zip and linkcollector.zip or copy/compress the cfg folder. You can not restore backups from previous versions of jd once installed.

I use the backup (Ctrl + B) to save the progress of a download. So if the PC is turned off then the download progress will be where I backup and not from zero as usually happens if I do not the backup.

I hope the JD2 retain this option.

:/ Would have been nice to know this in advance. Since V1 did it, I assumed V2 did. That was aloooot of crap I just lost. Literally just spend 5 hours on Dino's blog since he's closing it at the end of the month. *Sigh*

And I was good at backing V1 up before the auto feature was added. Five million tooltips V2 throws at me and this isn't one of them.

did you loose your links or what? because at the moment the system is very safe, nearly impossible to loose links. jd uses a copy on write method and only saves /loads when everything went fine.

It took more than three months. I hope that this feature will see the light of day.

Every time I have to CTRL + C & CTRL + V into a text editor to check the number of links (packets)

I did lose them. It was probably Java's fault, not specifically jd, because I did let Java update.

Back when there was no backup feature for jd, I would always manually back everything up before updating Java. That wiped my links out twice in the past, but I could just replace the files. But I assumed incorrectly that version 2 had an automatic backup feature, since it seems to have every other feature I use on V1.
