Display problems on Linux Mint 18.1
Hi guys,
today I tried to install Jdl unter Mint Xfce 18.1 and I experienced sime strange display problems. I have installed the following java version: Code:
$ java -version openjdk version "1.8.0_121" OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_121-8u121-b13-0ubuntu1.16.04.2-b13) OpenJDK Server VM (build 25.121-b13, mixed mode) Thanks in advance. Cheers. |

Please check if you have installed all fonts(packages) on your system.
Also please provide a logfile, see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs and post the shown logID here

I guess the DisplayProblems you are talking about is
-non visible links/text?

Sorry, Jdl crushes almost all the time and enabling "Log: Debug Mode" is not gonna be saved by Jdl after restart.

Looks like broken java version or graphic card issues.
close JDownloader and delete the logs folder. start it manually with java -jar JDownloader.jar -console and after first issues, close JDownloader and zip the logs folder and send to support@jdownloader.org I can also offer live help via Teamiewer, just send us an e-mail. I also suggest to try out oracle java instead of openjdk. maybe your desktop manager has issues/bugs with that java version.

Installing Oracle Java JDK8 solved the problem.
