Apparently there is no longer an advantage to logging into netload with a free account. Free account login is removed from JDownloader when the site makes this change. |

Timeout macht?

As of now I am getting a netload bug or error. All the netload links are showing as unavailable, but download in jd anyways so they are online. Anyone else?
I have netload premium, and running nightly newest version. Well all is well now I don't know if it was fixed super fast or not because i did hit the update button. All links are showing online now just wanted to give an update. Last edited by bluetree; 06.03.2011 at 05:25. Reason: addition to post |

Netload.in
Hi

Hello. Just got my premium netload account. Im just wondering what are the best settings to use for jdownloader to run smooth ?
And i have disabled reconnect, just to your info. |

Reconnect is not needed for Premium.
Try "Max. connection per file" = 10 and Max. downloads = 1 (I'm using these setting for all the hostings I have Premiums) - I always get full speed with these (on 6 or 20 MBit connection). So every file is downloaded with 10 chunks and connections are to only one server at the time. I do not recommend increasing Max download - common error for most of the users - more packages from different sources (servers) try to use the same bandwidth and when there are AV/FV involved it results in slower speeds, CRC errors, connection lost etc. Better way is to increase slightly number of chunks (Max. connection per file), but 10 seems to be optimal.

Got some errors. Hope someone can check this. I switched to netload from fileserve because fileserve gave me to mouch trouble
When the errors in the log occured i had max 2 connections and max 2 downloads. I am now trying with 10 connections and 1 download edit : heres the log http://jdownloader.org/pastebin/52031 Last edited by zixer92; 06.09.2011 at 21:53. |

I would download with "Max. Con." = 1 and increase "Max.Dls." until you reach your maximum bandwidth. The reason is that jD doesn't support dynamic chunking and the speed will stay constant with "Max. Con." = 1.

But if the user's connection to the server is poor then (with Max. Con = 1) he'll download a file very slowly. Sometimes there are only one slow chunk, so with 1 connection per file you will have to wait a lot of time to complete it.
I was experimenting with different number of chunks and with one slow chunk remaining - it's size is relatively small. So with 700 MB file completing one 70 MB slow chunk (with Max Con = 10, and when all the other chunks are completed, its remaining size is already < 70 MB) takes less time than completing 700 MB slow chunk (with max con = 1).

Aint it possible to pin-point the error from the logfile ?
In avg im abit unsure where to add jdownloader as allowed cause there are so many places you can manage allows and blocks. Also in the windows firewall, currently using vista 32 bit |

check for exlusions in avg. then add java.exe and javaw.exe
also disabling the http/linkcheck scanner can help

Hey. I got the HDD Crash error on one file out of many from a container i downloaded from netload.
I then tried the link in the browser and it downloaded fine. I have seen this problem on another thread where its been marked as solved but it was in german. |

This sounds pretty dramatic. Could you repair your disk?
What about some example links and a complete and detailed log? |
