Default [Linux - KDE]Jdownloader tray icon isn't transparant

OS: Kubuntu 11.10 (KDE 4.7.3)
Jdownloader version: 0.9.581

The icons in the ~/.jdownloader/jd/img/logo/ folder ARE transparent, and from what I've seen from Googling this is a Java-related issue. A quick JDownloader forum search did not yield any results.

If someone knows a workaround for this I'd love to hear it, as it truly destroys my beautiful black desktop style D:

Default Tray icon on Linux has white background to it.

I tested it on Artix Linux on windows icon has transparent background like favicon on this site. I think it should be transparent

I meant on Artix Linux it has white background to it and on Windows 10 it has transparent.

Merged same threads.
This bug is an old Java bug. It looks like this will never be addressed.
Exemplaric ticket:
bugs.openjdk.org/browse/JDK-8176256

Similar tickets go back to 2006 and earlier.
